Hi Greg,
could you please put Tryhard and myself on the ride list.
Looks like another corker ride coming up.Thanks
MickpHi FF
glad to hear you both came out of the croosing without injury.
Joe (Tryhard) came down on that crossing one time going in the opposite direction and Reece has sucumbed to it as well and broke some ribs around Christmas time. They can be damned slippery.
Wayne (Lotsa) is the only one of our group that has not had an off on a crossing but he’s had plenty of other crashes to make up for it  :laugh:Mick
Thanks guys for your well wishes.
Hope to be out for a ride 2morrow
Mick
I like the white/red colours, looks tops Greg

Geez, you blokes know how to sneak in some good rides on the quiet :laugh:Nice country and some tricky bits thrown in for poor old Boulder on the big girl too …
Cheers
Boulder, Gav and I had our bluetooths on and it was funny in one section up some steep hills with large erosion humps that just kept going up and up and up. Gav was ahead of boulder with me keeping clear of the shrapnel flying out the back of Boulders 990. I could hear all this huffing and puffing in my headset and I said to Gav it sounds like you’re working hard up ahead they must be getting steeper, next thing Boulder says “I think its me puffing”. 😆
He might take the DRZ400 next time, I was was getting tired just watching him wrestle the big Kato around.Mickp
It was a good weekend away on the bikes
Great job guys and girl.
I’m looking forward to attending and helping out if I can.Mickp
strucky wrote:A big thank to Rocks MC last nightThey put on the new BMW launch last night of the GS 1200, which is a great bike for ADV riding. It comes with every thing you need to make your riding experience the best you will have.
As a bonus they had Simon and Lisa from 2 Ride the World.
They are a married couple who sold everything to road around the world on there motor bikes, and a 11 years later they are still going.
There story is one that will inspirer anyone who has thrown a leg over a motor bike, I was spell bound wacthing there video and listeing to them about there amazing trip.
You could just sit there and listen all night, and they were so open with all there experience’s good and bad.
I wish them well with the rest of there journey.
To Rory and Peter Rock and family, you did a great job puting this on with food and drinks, it was a great night out.
Thanks to TB and Amy for introducing me to Siomon and Lisa, and for your company for the night.
Cheers

Gavb and I went to a similar shindig a week ago at Brisans M/C in Newcastle where Simon and Lisa did a similar presentation.
It was a fantastic evening listening to them and seeing a miniscule part of their Adventures.
Its hard to condense 11 years of adventure into a 3 hour presentation.Cheers
MickpHi mick, glad to hear you’ve had a top day for your bday. May you have many more.
Cheers
Mickp
Happy birthday Jeffro, hope you have had a great day.
Best wishes
Mickp
Good one Boulder, I’ll have to get one when they have it sorted. :cheer:
The prefilter seems to work pretty well anyway and you probably wouldn’t have to clean the main filter very often.

Trailboss wrote:Thanks Mickp, I received your email today and downloaded the file. Yes that was what I was after Mick there was one little section I couldnt remember that has a turn off to an overgrown twin track that lasts 80kms that we didnt use in 2010.TB
Glad I could help Greg.
I had trouble with the old computer closing down basecamp everytime I tried to look at the tracks  A reboot seemed to sort it though.Mick
Greg, I remember pretty well all the route except for the details from Euabalong to Ivanhoe as I did a lot of the trip in 4wd’s after the Cameron ride. I know we followed the railway line track just after Euabalong where you and Nick had an altercation and Nick ended up with some railway sleeper in his foot. Brings back a lot of good memories (maybe not for Nick).
I’ll check my old computer to see if I have the route. Boulders Old mate (sorry can’t remember his name) from Condo pub advised of the route because of the wet roads. I’ll let you know.Cheers
MickThanks everyone for a great weekend of riding, especially TB for all the effort he puts in. I don’t know how he gets the time to put it all together.
Good to see chicken enjoyin the weekend and thanks for being rescue man. Thanks to the sweep riders ensuring all got through OK.
The navigation ride format works well with the large numbers and makes the ride more interesting.
The videos are great to look back on, you guys are getting very good at it, Edog watch out – Rum soaked studios and associates will be taking over.
Hope to catch up with everyone on the next “ADVENTURE” :woohoo:
Mick
Hi Kat,
hope the miserable weather doesn’t, put a damper on your birthday celebrationsHope you party hard tonight and enjoy. :woohoo:
Regards Mickp
I’ll be heading off about midday from the Central Coast and taking a bit of a scenic route down to Mittagong with another old mate if anyone can get away at that time.
Got a bit of maint. to do on the bike as well – back tyres dont last very long on the 990.
Looking forward to the ride as I haven’t been on a bike since the Coffs ride.
Mick
