Mmmm  watching with interest
Yes great vids by everyone I thought, some excellent footage
Obviously protective gear is a must have but like LC said it’s not going to stop you from injury, it can help but not stop you getting injuries.
I think the most important thing is to ride to your ability  and resist the temptation to keep up with faster riders than yourself
Tell the wife that and a new bike will be on it’s way i’m sure
Looks like a quick session their Nathan  you two were haulin

STM
I’m getting more selective with regards to when I go out as well mate
so there won’t be many more ks going on it till we get some major RAIN up here
Good vid Nato
even saw myself in their a couple of times
My Yammy is 22months old and has just over 3000ks on it  and I thought I rode quite a bit :S

Here is Trapeze. It wasn’t that hard really, it was just very humid which sapped the energy out of you.
Sunday ride
I forgot to take my gopro with me so only had the camera out at 2 spots. I went to zoom out when LC was coming up the hill but hit the stop button istead so his is cut short.
Nice vid jeffro, catching Spud come off over the tree was a gem
Hey Spud can you talk me through that one   :laugh:As always , this event is the high point of the riding year not only for the riding, but the excellent organisation and the great people that travel to Coffs to make it such an enjoyable weekend
We got there on Thursday and Moto,Tom and me headed out for a quick loop to loosen up for the forthcoming rides :woohoo: lucky we did because we found that my suspension linkage was locked solid  Tom;s fuel line had a split in it  and Moto snapped the brake lever clean off of his Husaberg :S Faaark.
My linkage eventually decided to free off after riding through every waterhole/puddle I could find but we had done a very uncomfortable 40kshowever it stayed good for the rest of the weekend
.
While Tom and Moto did the trip into the bike shop on friday morning ,I went for a surf with STM,Nick,ChrisT and Scotts wife Elise who seemed to catch the bulk of the waves
The Friday arvo ride was a good warm up for the BIG one
and was enjoyed by everyone I spoke to, and with my rear suspension working good I was looking forward to the morning.
Way too many beers with Moto and Damo meant the start of the ride was a bit subdued :S , but got into it eventually and started to enjoy it more, the loop Scott & Nick had put together was top quality riding and by the time we got to No-line I was up for the challenge :PI loved it and once up there we quickly came to the widowmaker which was as grippy as I’v ever seen it and the majority of the group went up without too many drama’s :woohoo: A great effort from Marnie in having 2 goes at the widowmaker on her first look at the hill, and with the first attempt not being far from succeding :side: :side:
Trapeze was a great addition to the ride being trials type riding so I loved it :woohoo: :woohoo:
The pace seemed to get faster and faster as we headed back to the camp site and many duels were happening every time I stopped for my cornerman duties  saw a good one with Tom chasing a very quick Nato and another with Crash and TB knocking bars :woohoo: Nick did a great job keeping the crew going as it was quick
All in all another awesome Coffs ride
Many thanks to Scott,Nick for leading and organising and Spud and Deejay for sweepingjako wrote:mike wrote:All packed with board on the roof as wellLeaving 5am tomorrow so should be there in good time for a surf/ride

ausducman wrote:Just reading through this thread as looking for a WR250 2T, heard they are a great bike and thought it would keep the 2011 WR450F company in the garage as well as handy to have a spare bike when the 450 has its motard rubber on. Lots people rate the WR250 2T however info or actual knowledge is hard to come by. I am on the far north coast and we don’t have a large selection of 2nd hand bikes if you are chasing a particular model so I have found one interstate and will probably buy sight unseen and rely on selllers photos and honesty. Mr Blue seems to have a handle on these bikes so I was wondering if he or someone else could maybe answer a few questions? I have found a 1999 model that looks pretty tidy, bike is in Qld and owner says it was registered by the previous owner but not registered now and has no lights or blinkers, I’m good with electrical so this is no problem.1. Is the 1999 model ADR compliant?
2. Where would the owner find the complince plate? (steering head I assume).
3. Pictures of compliance plate, frame and engine number should be enough to prove bike is legitimate?
4. Any particular problems should really ask about?
5. Is a search of http://www.ppsr.gov.au sufficient to protect me from buying a stolen bike or can anyone suggest a better option. Only ever bought registered bikes and always used REVS but apparently http://www.ppsr.gov.au is now the place to check?Cheers Al
Hey Al,
Im on the Sunny Coast and if its close I would go and have a look at it for you if thats any help.moto wrote:duckNcover wrote:Gday, just wondering if i need rego on my bike to come riding? just askinIn short, yes
I would never do anything illegal on my registered bike.
Mike – Wouldn’t a veteran of the Scottish Six Days Trial be better equipped to handle such a tyre changing task. If only there was someone going to Coffs that had completed it
How about the French 4 day,the Scott and the British Trials Championship for 6 years    oh and the British Experts twice, will that do?
Na Bollocks you can change your own tyre
moto wrote:Looks like I might be in the same predicament as last year, on the verge of swapping the rear tyre but deciding t leave it be for the Coffs ride. Due the inclement weather last year I stopped at the bike shop in Coffs and got them to fit a new tyreI won’t be this year though, don’t have the time to change a tyre before Coffs, especially not pissing around with a mousse. I’ve ebeen getting them on alright recently, I know if I try and change it when I’mon a tight schedule though there will be drama’s!
Man of your calibre should flash a tyre in 5 mins easily
