If Damo doesn’t come how am I supposed to ride the 6 days?? Is he just scared of the 570?

Might have something to do with the fact that Marnie looped in on a hill at the weekend

I have updated the rider list on the first post and we are up to 32. Thank you to everyone who has filled out the template. I have loaded it into an excel spreadsheet and it makes organising things very easy as I can sort on days or meals and book numbers for shuttle buses etc. If you know someone who is planning on coming or is sharing a cabin and is not on the list, can you prompt them to send back the template so that I can add them to the list.

    Cheers

    Scott,

Spoke to Damo last night and he’s still not sure what he’s doing but I will keep pushing him :P

I’ve been restoring a 72 DT2 for the past 5 years. Plenty of parts available ebay usa. The last part I was chasing for a long time was some decent forks. A guy from ozvmx came to the rescue and sold me a pair so I’m on the home straight. Just need to find some time!!

I need a front and rear mudguard and they seem to be rare as, but we will get there ;)

just went through this myself open a photobucket account upload your photos into that you will see a share underneath the photo once uploaded click on that
(start 2 pages up with 1 being your post for oldbulls and 1 being for your photobucket page and keep them both open ready) which will come up with your codelink,
scroll across that with your cursor while holding down the left clicker on your mouse makesure all letters are covered in blue ,
once this is done up in the left hand corner you have file, edit ,view ,favorites, tools and help hit edit and then copy,
once thats done go back to your oldbulls page right click and then hit paste then submit

    hope this helps mate[/quote

Mmmmm been having a few dramas trying to upload photos myself :pinch: so will try this, thanks huskybloke ;)

    Saturday ride conclusion…

After the effort of getting up Pig Hill we carried on through the next section of tracks which are undulating ,fast and flowing and gave the group the chance to get the body temp back down with a bit of wind in their sails ;) every time I looked back to leave a cornerman and Spud was the rider he was still hooting 😆 I think he was enjoying himself :cheer: :cheer: .

As we started to head back we came to another section of tricky (steep)hills which again caused the body temp to rise  so much so that once we got through these tracks I led the crew through to a nice little waterhole that we use on the hot summer rides for a cooling dip,it’s a bit early in the year to be using it yet as it takes ages to warm up even a little bit :S but Stm was off his bike and in in a flash :woohoo: :woohoo: we all followed but it certainly was’nt warm

The remaining ride back over the last parts of the loop were great with wet riding gear  and by the time we hit the campsite it was’nt long before the beers were out :P

All in all it was a great weekend with a great crew, hope the hard hills were’nt too hard

Great footage from Nick and Scott, really makes a ride report ;)
