Hey Dan,
My son has had 3 sets of seals on his 06 450 and they seem to be holding up a bit better this time, I put new seals in my 04 450 a year ago and they are fine? just the luck of the draw I guess.
Now I would’nt want to see a yamaha pilot go orange, how about buying some Kato front forks and putting them in…much better forks than the standard wr?thanks for the tips guys but he’s already tried all of the suggestions
like you said, did’nt think they could be killed but this one has let go in a big way, I saw the split motor today and it’s ugly  it seems that the 3rd gear cog has broke into 3 pieces and bits have gone everywhere taking chunks out of everything including the piston skirt, conrod and the upper crankcase at the rear of the barrel !!.
he was looking for a different motor(GS 500 I think he said) to maybe graft into the frame as he’s already done loads of work setting it up for some adventure riding.Niiiice ride Robbo, they are a trick looking bike I’m a fan :woohoo:
Top action shot of you Tyne and good to see you pushing Stevo along so early in your riding career, nice work
Reading all the reports has brought up some stories that I had’nt heard, like Tom chasing STM on some single track and having a dice with Moto as well because peoples accounts of the ride are always different depending on where they were in the line
Big D had a few lines to tell as well
Everybody has said everything :cheer: it was a great four days and once again thanks to Scott and all the guys that turned up.Hey Scott, Got back safe at 3pm and sorted everything out with the bikes/gear then straight onto have a look at the report before I shoot off again to pick up the wife at the airport
brilliant report Scotty on a brilliantly organised weekend
.
Was good to meet some fellow oldbbulls and all good blokes as well.
Not sure the photo of me in the kids play pool should of made it onto the site though
Will look back later for sundays report, once again many thanks for the hospitality Scott, it was a top weekend
All loaded up and ready to go
so its a quick shower then hit the beers :silly:
STM, I think they will only allow 4 adults in the cabin so the camping thing might be the best option
Itsagas its booked in my name Mike Wyeth and we are booked into a garden villa.
We are leaving the sunny coast at about 6-6.30am so should be there at around 1pm. Caaaaant wait!!!
Hey STM have you had any rain down there yet? got a new tyre sat in the shed waiting to go on if needed
but if theres no rain then the one on there will be fine Im sure
Bloody bike needed everything done for this ride
new chain/sprockets, oil filter/oil, front wheel bearing and rear tyre
cost me a fortune this week!!! sure its going to be well worth it as it sounds like an awesome weekend coming up :cheer: :cheer:
Mate its the way to go, no traffic in the forests
I was just trying to get the last ride out of the chain/sprockets and rear tyre 😆 now need new ones and some front wheel bearings before Coffs :S what are these s12 tyres?
The ride is getting closer :woohoo: is it just going to be the five of us or is anybody else coming?
Some great vids Eagle, I do miss the trials riding:( although Im a bit too old for those sections:P looks like a pretty good standard of riding.
Nice work Tyne
with that kind of progress and just over 3 weeks to go until the ride at Coffs it sounds like you could be in;)
PS Dont tell Andrea:P
nice looking track and also looks like no dust:woohoo: :woohoo:
