    took the shock in this arvo $150 of which $120 was labour…told him what i done and said i would had to get the grinder onto the collar..

    must be different coz there definetly wasn’t a clip there…and the ring doesn’t come off like you see in the picture its all one piece and the metal isn’t a shinee type like the pic

    the newer models must be different,,a mate came around and we couldn’t find a circlip anywhere.
    so with sum deliberating we stuck it in a vice and screwed it apart.. and it worked good till the oil came spurting out….got the new spring on..just gotta get it refilled now….
    anyone have a rough idea what the cost of that would be ….

    how do i actually take the spring off the strut ??? has it got anything to do with the screw,
