basically she had to keep her eyes closed for 3 hours after surgery.
valium was given before surgery to relax you, only small dose.
then was told to take the other tablets once back at hotel.even if she didnt sleep she had to rest and keep eyes closed.
Things may be different for you .kylie,
glad to see your going to sydney also, didnt want to mention it before in case it put you off, but we too were advised against using anyone in newcastle, one in particular. barb was treated by dr con moshegov in sydney.
if dans going with you , dan try to watch it if they let you, totally facinating and very cool to watch.
we stayed in sydney overnite for 2 reasons.1. barb was put to bed within 20 mins of leaving the surgery. painkillers, sleep tablet and all good.
2. we had to be back next morning to check that the flap of skin hadnt moved. we met some of the other patients from prevois days surgery and all were doing fine.best of luck.
persecution of others for whatever reason has been around since dawn of time unfortunately. Its animal instinct to repel/destroy anything seen as a threat or someone different.I`ve seen a group of magpies hold down and kill a peewee for no reason than beingin their territory. they didnt eat it, just fly away.I was try to get to it but by the time I realised what was happening it was too late.
My point being this has always happenned always will, just that humans are generally better at coming up with ways to do it.
Roy your probaqbly right in some way. overpopulation.= more idiots.
what pisses most poeple off is the justice system , which is basically a joke.
A system where a descision made decades earlier is used a precedent to bend rules to avoid punishment is fundemently flawed, when society has changed significantly from when the first descision was made.society is rooted and these days the good samaritan generally gets his head punched in.
like the quote says(cant remember who) ” the more I learn about people, the more I like my dog”:blink : enough rant , supposed to be packing the van to go away, have a good christmas all.stay safe
my wife had it done just 2 weeks ago. she was tested the following day ,which is usual process and had 20/20 vision. She has never had this and is over the moon.
had it done in sydney ,cost a little more but they used the latest gear and surgeon was confident of what he could do and what could be done.we went to sydney after newcastle people made us worry with their prognosis on longsighted treatments.
all went well, I got to watch thru window and watched the closeups on a tv screen. facinating to watch. As for when you get older and eyes start to fade again, you can either wear glasses, had eyes re lazered of cornea thickness allows , or there is experiment at moment which should be mainstream within a couple of years where basically they place a corrective lense in front of the cornea after cutting a flap.like an internal contact lense.
the reaction I saw on mywife when she started reading every bit of fine print she could find that night, it was worthwhile.
hope all goes well.
only just seeing this now.

cant ride thursday but would be keen for tomorrow, being wednesday. If your interested/available .
Nice work TW,
always good to to ride some new trails. Some of those single trails were sweet- quick paced with a surprise thrown in every now and then to keep up the challenge.
To those who attended, good to ride with you, not one complaint did I here.personal highlight- after a regather we all charged down the next section of singletrail- only to find XRTRAILHACK pulling his bike out from between the trees 30 secs later.this wasnt his only off path experience for the day, but was kinda funny after seeing he was alright.
I didnt see it but BIG HOL was still laughing about Sam filling in +1 climbing out of the creek when we got back to the cars.
TW,
Sam is now coming, hes working in the arvo so all is good.See you tomorrow.
morgoThe sun was shining so it was off with the bike gear and into the pool- unquote
nothing suss about that?
why is he called THE DUDE.
wish i had some clever gay poster or something for this

P.S sounds like it was a good rideIts a small world,
a little off topic but my younger brother works for Cummins marine division R&D in the states . Hes a mechanical engineer and is involved in the development of new marine engines. He still has a job at the moment, many have been cut where he works and some projects put on backburner due to economic downturn.hey, training wheels,
put me down as a rider.put me in as a roster worker , but nothing wrong in being a work dodger, especially work the missus lines up when I could be out riding.
Theres something in their genetic makeup that doesnt want you to enjoy yourself.
also my young bloke Sam, might be in if hes not working.

with BMI 0f 30.83
this puts me into the obese catagory.
eating salad for lunch every day at work.If I can catch you, then sit on you while I get my breath back..you might find out how fit I am. .. this goes to you diddle.
trevor hendy ..yep
ian roberts ..big,strong but fitness wise ..maybe
Kostya Tzu still very fit.P.S I will be using the Wii Fit as my official weighin device -it keeps track and provides graphs of progress
second motivation- I want to be able to spearfish like I did in my 20`s – last seasons performance poor- mainly due to fitness.
