yeah,i think some people do., Its not about hazards its about riding attitude, and people need to realise that actions beyond whats reasonable have consequences ,sometimes tragic.Your attitude might be different if I told you that a car coming the other way lost control trying to avoid this bike and crashed off the road.Thats not true but this is the story in other incidents.

To those who want to use photos PM me and Ill email them to you.

    what are you thinkin???
never give up a toy unless it is being replaced with a newer, better toy.Even then think about it. Once a toy ia gone , rarely is it replaced..
talk to your workbuddies, bloke at the pub, they will tell you the same thing.

get a bigger shed.it adds value to your home..nice line there.
also , with sheds, if you pick out one that you think is big enough, get the next size up..plan for the future..more room for more toys..
Randbuild do interest free loans on sheds at the moment…

P.S- get a big shed as you may have to sleep in it .

YEP..show no mercy. cause they have none for you..if you were actually ripping them off like they want you to believe, they wont do the deal.they will lie and con and try their own personal style to work on you. My personal favorite is where they “talk” on the phone to their boss then the boss comes in later as says hill kick the salesmans ass for doing a deal like this.
If you want to see how much they get thier cars for go to a auction- dealers only – this will give you a true price on a cars worth- its an eye opener, especially if youve been sussing out the car yards.

    enjoy your ciggie,
yep , your getting ripped off.
car salesmen are born liars, and then trained to be better liars.

the only time your getting close to a good deal is when you walk away and they either ring you back or chase you to the car , although they are coached not to do this as chances are another sucker will come along.
remember , cash is king.If you can afford to do it , borrow money first then take a wad of cash and go shopping. for example, if you had 10k to spend, take 10k in cash and then look at cars in 14-15k range .be utterly ruthless with the bastards, walk away if the deals not right,if its the best car youve seen all day, leave your number if deal not in your ball park.
car shopping at end of month or quarter can find dealers needing to make quotas for their sales bonuses.they will haggle better. This is especially so with small car yards.

if your able to go to sydney for the day or weekend you will generally do better ,but only with cash, no trade.
selling your car privately is a hassle but you will do better and the person buying from you will do better than buying from a car yard.

good luck, and remember unless your buying collector car, there will be another one similar in another car yard.

    heres a real answer.
I tried to find a set a couple of years back only to find they are as rare as hens teeth.
most are hand made by blacksmith or boilermaker.Anyway,I gave up and bought a set of horseshoes instead.
try ebay, secondhand stores and even camping shops. My uncle was lucky enough to find a set at a local camping shop, they were handmade by an old blacksmith.I had no luck.

If you find a set or two let me know as Im still looking for them.

Not much of a help, good luck

hard to believe so much interest in this..must be plenty of secret admirers of the mighty DRZ.

    :)

but to reply to an earlier comment,
yes drz are heavy, but new bars and the risers gave a big difference to riding position, especially taller blokes.I`m nearly 6`2″ and it brings arm position up and forward, much more ergonomic.
I`m running motoz tractionator tyres with good results.
Also uprating forks and rear shock was my next move, just getting together money and finding right shop, seen somewhere on this site Jay Foreman in newcastle was mentioned..any comment on his work?
