I don’t think I’ve ever won anything! I did pretty well at cross country running when I was at school, but I kept getting put up grades every time I’d get good enough to win the grade I was in. I ended doing a few state level events but was always mid pack :(

Make sure you keep hold of them Razzle :)

Well, Saturday started off with 8 of us and after a short while was whittled down to 6 with Jack and Clint heading back to the cars. Myself, Darran, Mick Ktm, Lotsa, LC4Skin & Dude got on with the rest of the ride making faster time. We rode most of the singles but ended up going a bit father than I had intended and popped out next next to Tunks.

In order to keep time we high tailed on the fire trail for 2-3Km to get back to Hitchcocks. With Hitchcocks dispacthed we started to make our way up towards Whitemans. At the creek just before Whitemans (the only bit of water on the whole ride), Dude managed to superman over the bars in front of us all and land squarly in the creek :D It was bloody funny and the only time during the ride a picture was taken! Luckily he was okay.

Everyone had some form of stack going up Whitemans. Darran pulled off a perfect 180 on the top of a rock ledge and somehow managed to hold onto his bike…to the applaud of the rest of us watching. I did the same on the next rock ledge but just let go of my bike :D

Woose hill was done the easy way (down) and we rode up Zig Zag without too many drama’s either. Arriving at the ‘bumcrack’ we all dropped over the daunting looking rock face. Dude was last and was clearly a little nervous. Inching his bike over the precipice with his body weight right back he looked to have it under control until his bike slipped an inch and he decided to bail! As his bike began to kartwwheel down the rock ledge and smash into the ground Dude’s Spiderpig senses were tingling and rolled across the rock face and somehow managed to grip onto the face in a perfect rock climbing position that Murph and Mal would surely have been proud of…..maybe he’s been having lessons? :D

Back through Maculata, Duffy’s singles and then finally the Panadol hill loop, I think it’s fair to say we were all fairly tired after the ride. I was doing it tough all day and have never had so many cramps in different muscles.

MickKTM (the male model) and LC4Skin came back to mine for beers, joined later by Lotsa, Matt and Elyse. It was a good day, I was sore but the free flowing beer then cider, followed by wine helped to sooth the pain…….temporarily ;)

Thanks to all that came on the Sat ride :)

A kiddie we ride with occasionally has a Gasser (2011 300) and his drinks the fuel too. He’s rins pretty rich, I’ve offered to adjust it for him but he keeps rocking up late for rides and I keep telling him ‘next time’ :P

Gotta love the 570 consumption, 100+Km in any terrain before the fuel light comes on, don’t know how long it has when that happens though. Only an 8.5 litre tank too.

It helps that I ride it like a fag though :D

It looks just like that actually. It has new plastics and new tyres that were never used. Though from memory there was something iffy with the front brake and bottom end on the motor went at the last trial I did, knocking quite badly.

With a new top and bottom end and a sorted front brake she’ll be ready for action again! How much were you quoted when you were looking at buying a few and having them shipped over?

    There’s a 1995 JT250 on eBay for $1700 ;)

What a pussy, make him go out Sat night as well!! :D He’s only a young tacker!

Darran can’t make the Sun ride now as he is moving house, so I might need a peral of wisdom or two Adam. I pretty much know the way, there’s just a couple of singles I may miss if unguided….

 :cheer:  😆 and that’s just the vespa :pinch: :P :silly:

I was waiting for a comment on the Vespa … I omitted that from my previous “My Garage” thread :)

THE VESPA ROCKS! … well it did in Sydney anyway, not sure how it will go down in Kempsey  Ah well, like I care, I’ll be “that guy” on the Vespa at Woolies Kempsey

You’ll only that be ‘that guy’ in Kempsey once. After your first trip to Woolworths I’m fairly sure you’ll come back and find someone has kicked the shit out of it

Which brings me neatly to my second point, I don’t think Kempsey is upmarket enough for a Woolies   :P

Like I can talk, I get farrkwits riding past my house every time it rains doing burnouts up the hill

It’s not nitpicking when you are correct, good pickup :)

No, the bikes were standard. One guy, a Husky die hard got royally rogered he even paid companies to do independant tests on his bike to disprove their claims.

He claimed a faulty speedo, they looked at it and said it was alright. He said it wasn’t but couldn’t replicate the fault in the shop. It kept jumping and adding Km’s, a known issue. A few later…bang!

He takes the bike insaying it shit itself and they started off by saying look at the ODO is past the allowed KLM’s for the top end. He even had it serviced at a Husky delaer! He took it to court and the thread (30-40 pages of Husky owners grumbling) got removed after legal action ensued. We don’t know hopw it ended…..

Ask Mal how his warranty claim for a complete engine failure went.

A good dealer will be a big plus. It’s the dealing with the importer when things go bang that scares me off. There are plenty of threads about it.

I did do a mono past a copper in a car near Mick’s house though. She let me off as she was off duty, Mick knows her apparently. Just as well I didn’t mention I just rode from his house, she might have definitely booked me :D

I did also low side on the tar right out front of the A4DE, sparks flying into the air from my footpegs just behind TB :P

    There are always stories 😆

I would have taken the plate off and done some urban enduro by now

Didn’t you get a VERY expensive fine for doing that in Kempsey

Errr…yes, but that was in the car, and it was because of a lack of rego, not lack of a plate ;)
