Happy Birthday for yesterday mate, I hope the ribs heal up quick!
Wicked report as usual Murph, I do look forward to reading the Murph ride reports and seeing the pictures, top quality!
I washed it after it tried to kill me all morning

Well done OG, even a easy ride with Murph and Co. won’t be a truly easy ride……he hasn’t got it in him!

18.29 for Glenn Kearney
Well done all that entered, sounds like a fun and dusty time was had by all!
What did you have done for $1600? I’d want a new engine
Nice work Murph, I recognise lots of those sections. Looks like a good ride

But then again everyone does it… If they released all the whiz bang stuff up front how are they going to make their Gazillions? Look at Intel… chips we will be using 2, 3 or even 4 years from now have already been developed why give it to us now? when they can release a version once a year and make 5 times the money…Apple are the ones preaching uniformity across all their devices, not me. I’m only moaning that they’re full of shit! I get the whole processor thing but how does not making books available to be sold across more Apple platforms help them make more money?
For apps that generate revenue, surely it’s best to have them accessed from every possible area to increase revenue. I can’t think of one reason (other than software compatibility which is BS) why not having it on all devices is a good idea.
As far as I can tell most just use their competitors products to purchase and read books on these devices instead. I won’t be buying a MacBook Air as a result, some money making strategy!
Nice, I keep looking at MX bikes too. I should really try a MX race first though, it will be funny lining up on the 570 with a headlight  I keep thinking about a trials bike too, very tempted and great for the skills
So how’d did the crash happen? On the MX track or on a ‘private track’ out the back of your place? I hope it wasn’t a mistimed jump on the track
The Apple is the best of the bunch and is good for video editing and the cool factor. If you have other Apple products the integration between devices is also simple and easy to manage.
There are things I don’t like about the Mac though, mostly just niggly things having spent all my life on PC’s. On the whole though they are a good thing.
I have an Apple iPhone for my personal phone, iPhone for a work phone, iPad2, iMac, Apple TV and my girlfriends iPhone, plus I’m thinking about an iPad Mini.
I have 2 Dell laptops for work computers as well though and have just gotten rid of the dreaded Blackberry so I’m fairly impartial.
If you want to read the iBooks that you have purchased from Apple on your iMac, Macbook Pro or Macbook Air forget about it, for some reason they dont allow this???? This is an example of Apple’s (crappy) quirks. I’m only thinking about the ipad Mini because I can’t read books on a Macbook Air. I dont want to carry 2 phones, 2 laptops and an iPad everywhere I travel.
PS – Yes I know I can use Amazon or Kindle to read books on the Mac’s, point is I shouldn’t have to, I want all my files, music, books, videos in one place across all my devices.

New helmet – I’m a Virgo, cant’ stand anything scratched, Tainted!
New Goggles – friggin Vine ruined them!
Also, thinking Neck Brace? maybe??I can’t do another bike, it would be number three in only 8 months! That would be wrong wouldn’t it??
I think I’ll pour my energies into the garage; tools, setup etc. 😆 😆
Bike 3? What happened to the Berg?
Yes, I’ve been away a few months
I know he’s riding the Baja’s but I thought he was doing Dakar too? Maybe not then. I read he going to the US a bunch of times this year to per-run and race some desert events, may I have got my wires crossed.
He needs some time to get used to navigating and at speed. His outright speed is up there with the best of them he just needs more practise/experience and he’ll be a good thing.
As Scotty says Coma will be a tough cookie too.
Toby Price will have the pace to win. Question is can he deal with the navigation? I’m going to say no the first time out but if he rides subsequent years he could be a strong contender……much like Kurt Caselli too I reckon.
Hi all, I’ll be heading up to the Sunny Coast, not sure exactly where yet but somewhere around Buderim on the South end is the plan, I’ll be back renting for a while so it depends on where I can get a place that is happy to have 2 dogs, not going to be easy!
I will certainly miss the top people I’ve met down here but I’ll still try and get down for an OBT ride here and there so hope to see the old faces from time to time
I’m looking forward to getting out with Mike and Tommo and hitting up the QLD trails, it’s great exploring new ride areas……bring it on!
Lotsa – Will deffo have to catch up for a beer before I go, I left my mobile in the UK so don’t have my phone for a week or so but we’ll sort something out.
I start my new job on 8th April so will be heading up to QLD somewhere around the 4th, until then I’ll be at home getting my current house ready to rent, for those of you who know where I live, feel free to stop by
