What looks to have caused the failure BW? No mention of valves and cams so a 2 stroke? Older 360/380 or something, piston seems large (given my 300 was a 72mm).

EDIT: Whoops, wrong thread! Can a mod move for me please

Most people go on rides where they don’t have to pay hundreds of dollars to ride trails that we can ride any day of the week  Keep your eye out for some posted rides and tag along B)

Are you bitches still riding on the Monday? When are the others arriving, on the Friday arvo?

How many bottles of blackcurrant vodka do I need to bring Rickybobby? It’s a long way, and I don’t really like you, but Nath and Matty are going so it might still be worthwhile :P

I’m not going to lie to you Mick, it’s definitely an option. I’m more concerned about what I’ll have to whack him with if I can’t find a big stick :D

Is Dangerous Dave still involved in the club, he was a dead set legend that day I came up, I note his absence here…….

I thought the same too. I’m betting those Showa’s will be much better than the gasser forks too. The Showa’s I’ve ridden on were all better than my previous KTM’s but I’m getting the CC WP forks dialled in on the Berg I think they are just as good. Shame it took 8 years to catch up!

Talking of goggle rags, I keep one of these tucked behind my front plate and secured with the attached carrabina,

    +1

Well kind of! I don’t use a rag as after the first or second use it’s a wet as schoolgirls…..errrr…..hair after swim training  I just cut a cheap chamoix in half, fold it a few times and wedge it behind the headlight. You can ring the water out and keep using the thing.

Theres a right hander after that rock step up which we call woose hill. IF you go down that you can make it back to the power lines and that rocky bit we call that zig zags and then from there you can get to whitemans lane.
I was thinking of doing a ride down there soon i just have a couple of other hillls down there i wanna check out.
Your loop sort of sounds like it will be back to front of mine i wanna do

    Timmeh!!

I think Woose hill is the one we rode down after getting up the rock ledge. You follow the trail all the way and it comes out at the bottom of the power line area next to private property. What I’m calling the powerline track sounds like Zig Zag as it turns back on itself a few times.

Once out of the Zig Zags you are at the top of the powerline area and can ride singles all the way to Whitemans.

Where are you starting out to do it backwards? Tennis courts and then up either Hitchcocks or Whitemans? Do you go up or down Zig Zags?

So many questions, so little time :P We’ll have to hook a recon ride mate, though I’m bust for the next few weekends :)

All I need now is someone who is handy on a Mill to bore out my triple clamps a poofteenth ;) anyone know anyone willing to have a go at mates rates

Folding levers might be different. Depends if they have the adjuster supplied with them or not. The anodized blue clutch lever is a like for repalcment but it requires you to swap the adjuster over. To remove the adjsuter you need to punch out a 1-2mm cotter pin holding it in place and also a 6-8mm buch on on levers fulcrum.

The big bush is easy, just puch it out with a suitable sized socket, the cotter pin looked much more fiddly and I was doing it the night before a ride so I just left it be for the time being.

There is a reason that the Orange and Berg bikes are lighter, lighter materials and less of them. You can make your own mind up about the robustness of the design, there are lots of differing stories out there.

Now I’ve seen it all, a guy on Husky questioning the reliability and build quality of other bikes  That aside, half the bolts on the motors of these modern bikes are steel screwing into aluminium which is just as easy to strip if you’re not paying attention to what you’re doing or are a bit heavy handed.

There are lots of differeing stories because there are lots of Orange and Blue bikes out there. I can’t remember the last time I saw a Husky on the trails. It’s like comparing 1% of 1000 against 1% of zero! :P
