Those trails look shit, I saw FOUR puddles and SEVEN rocks
I been there so many times I recognise the tracks and what’s coming up next! The slippery little uphill out of the creek, hook a right to the clearing then left up the fast hill over the waterbars and then left again onto a trail that goes down and back up to the intersection, it’s a little bit rocky up the hill on the last bit towards the intersection.
How did I do? Looking forward to Nov…..
Trailboss wrote:The editing problem should be fixed with the revamp this evening. It’s not Bullshit Moto as you better than anyone would know posters have always had the ability to edit their own posts but something happened with the last update and it stopped working along with a few other things. It should be back to normal tonight, Chris wisely decided to leave it and the other problems to the revamp to fix everything at once. Thanks for your understanding

Sweet. With that taken care of all that’s left now is to ban Bob
I’ll come Bob if it means I don’t get any more harassing PM”s from you
For what it’s worth I reckon not being able to edit the body of your post is bullshit. That aside I also think Bob should be banned.
Razzle – The Berg stickers are notoriuos for being awful. So bad in fact that the dealers usually replace them under warranty no questions asked. My dealer even told me about it the day I bought the bike.
I have however just bought a new sticker kit as a few crashes later and my stickers looked very ordinary (they don’t do well scraping against rocks!). Since Sutto’s have just done a full engine rebuild of my bike under warranty I figured I’d spare them the warranty claim for the stickers
I bought a factory kit which is pretty similar and cheap(ish) at $155. You can buy the stock graphics kit but it’s about $250. A decent decal kit from a reputable company will cost more but it will also last ages, probelm for me was all the designs I saw I didn’t really like, I prefer the stock look on the Berg.
fully sik bro!
You mean ignition map switch. There isn’t a fuel map switch and you can’t load maps unless you take your bike to the dealer or cough up a thousand or so dollars for the ‘user setting tool’.
The 3 position ignition map switch allows you to run the bike in it’s stock setting, in a wild setting or a mild setting. Changing between ignition maps has to be done with the engine off (which sucks). The wild setting advances ignition by 3 degrees whilst the mild retards ignition 3 degrees respectively from stock.
There are no ‘competition’ maps for Australian bikes. The competition map was for Yankee riders who have a crappy map installed when the bike is sold to comply with the US equivalent of the ADR rules. So even if you do buy the user setting tool you’ll have to spend some time with it on the dyno to get the right AFR’s as our stock Aussie map is similar to the US competition map.
That aside, you can buy an EFI tuner (there are a few to choose from) which is a piggyback system intercepting the signals to your ECU with the end result of you being able to alter fuelling +/- over stock. I’ve just bought the JD one and will be testing it over the next few weeks as it can be modified online and also provides control of the accelerator pump. You can use use it to add fuel for a more smooth ride, or detract fuel for more snap.
The best way would still be to spend some cash and and get the it tuned to the correct AFR’s across the rev range on the dyno.
I melted some riding pants in the wash last night, a leather patch couldn’t take the 90 degree wash to try and clean them
I’ve just ordered some more pants, 2 jerseys, 5 tubes of mousse lube, radiator protector decal set and a Dunlop MX51 front tyre. Damn you RMATV!
It’s where the old moto is and they won’t let him out, it’s a conspiracy!
Rickybobby, I’m assuming I’m molebags, if so, I won’t have a +1 (I did mention this in your other thread somewhere).
I will probably only be there for the Sat and Sun rides also. Again I’ve double booked myself this weekend but am trying to get a ride in as opposed to doing the inlaws thing. It’s not going down well at the minute
I’ve just been on a spending spree too, don’t tell Tyne
I bought carbon clutch and ignition covers from motocomposites
A factory decal kit
Rim decal kit
A new seat
A billet blue oil filter cover from Sutto’s
Just sourcing a new rear tyre from 1inarow (still deciding on the front)
Enduro Engineering radiator braces from Sutto’s
14t front sprocketBring on the bling. I’ll wait a few weeks before fitting the decals and tyres, I’ve got some more crashing to get out the way first. My new helmet should turn up this week too
I might have to get a new sticker kit and a new seat before I come up, Tom will have a field day looking at it otherwise
Got out for 3 hours on Sat and and a tough 4 hour ride today up some fairly hectic hills. The big girl was firing on all cylinders all day and could have easily have taken more….the rider, not so much!

I feel a little bit sick for even posting this ADV rubbish
Mike – Darran was over tonight and he’s pumped about coming up. He said he’s more excited about September than his holiday in Bali with the Mrs in a few weeks
I can’t wait to get the Berger out on Sunday, and then I’ll be looking forward to more Amamoor trails!
