Looking mate, now you’re a computer wizard as much as I’m a builder now lol!
I hope Tommo gets the bike sorted
Looking good Tommo!
You can stop at my place on the way down Mike. I’ll probably do this event if I can enter before it fills up.

Which is 58% of everything then
Congrats on the milestone Mick, a top effort from a top bloke.

Knight is a trials rider who adapted to Enduro, he’s getting on in years now but is no slug. Like Stoner he tells it how it is and it comes across as whinging about the machine. Personally I think it’s ok for a rider to speak freely about how they are struggling with setup. Better that than the stiff upper lip attitude.+1
I like to hear the troubles they are having and what they do to overcome them. At their level the smallest adjustment would be very noticeable, having a new bike with new engine and frame is a massive change, if you don’t like it, you don’t like it.
He’s an awesome rider and I’m sure he’ll do we’ll on the Honda.
Thats no good buddy, I hope you mend up soon and are back burning the trails
Nice report and pics Murph. always look forward to seeing yours and Timbo’s handiwork
Another Coffs done and dusted and it ran with the clockwork precision one comes to expect these days. Scotty and his team of helpers did an awesome job the whole weekend and it went without a hitch. SO, on that note, thank you Scott, NickJ, Spud and everyone else that put time and effort in to help out and make it what it is.
The trails were in great shape and we were lucky enough to get some overnight rain on the Thursday night to make them perfect.
Congrats to Adam for getting the Old Bull Spirit award, a well deserved accolade in my own humble opinion.
I’ll leave the rest to the reports and photo’s as they speak for themselves

As an aside, the weather forexcast is looking somewhat better than last year, seems the budget must be bigger this year and Scotty has splashed out (no pun intended) on some good weather!
You can run a thermo fan with any battery, the bike charges the battery when you ride it, so as long as you don’t pull up for a counter lunch and leave the fan running running it will be sweet. Even if you did you would just kick start it.
Doing slow figure 8’s for 40 minutes will boil a lot of bikes, especially a single cylinder bike with 530 cc’s.
As others have said, fill the rads back up to a couple of mm above the fins and she’ll be sweet. Once you’ve filled them up (bike cold), run the bike for a minute or so and recheck the level, dependant on how much you lost in it’s last spew you can get air pockets that lower the level again once the bike has been filled and run.

As far as the KTM V Honda in recent race wins KTM spank Honda to death. However, I don’t really like how KTM have gone all ‘Manchester United’ and just throw cash at all the best riders to buy wins, so in that respect you do have to give it to Honda for taking the win…. despite KTM probably spending double Honda’s race budget. And it’s hard to argue with so many straight wins, it does seem to be Honda’s fave race.
Considering Honda gave up 2 strokes to focus on 2 enduro models, its a bit disappointing that they don’t bother to upgrade their bikes very much. I know they work well, but buyers are fickle and if they see a decent level of upgrades (perceived as good or not) I reckon they’d steal some sales away from KTM.
Yamaha have done much the same thing. Sure they still sell some bikes but they could sell quite a few more with better marketing.

I would never do anything illegal on my registered bike.
Mike – Wouldn’t a veteran of the Scottish Six Days Trial be better equipped to handle such a tyre changing task. If only there was someone going to Coffs that had completed it
