What happened to Kendall Norman, he seems to haul ass. Kurtz Caselli would have racing it too, he’s a machine on a bike too.
Do it yourslef. Otherwise make the trip to Sutto’s to be sure it’s done properly.
Happy belated Birfday to you to Alex
Happy belated Birfday Ollie!!
I’d start by contacting one of the above mentioned clubs, becoming a member, getting your MA license and then you’re free to race any event that doesn’t require rego (some do).
Looks the goods Scotty, the blue even looks nice with the red……almost looks too good to get dirty, not bad for a Honda!
All we’ve got to do is try and keep up with you now
When’s my go?
Looks like I might be in the same predicament as last year, on the verge of swapping the rear tyre but deciding t leave it be for the Coffs ride. Due the inclement weather last year I stopped at the bike shop in Coffs and got them to fit a new tyre
I won’t be this year though, don’t have the time to change a tyre before Coffs, especially not pissing around with a mousse. I’ve ebeen getting them on alright recently, I know if I try and change it when I’mon a tight schedule though there will be drama’s!
Top effort guys, looks like you all killed it! I laughed my ass off at Bob on the tyres, what happened, did your bashie get caught and the bike not want to start? Sweet looking loop, though, you smashed the rest of it.
Makes me wanna come and have a go now! I know I said no when you PM’d me but you didn’t say you were racing EnduroX.
I might have to wait until until May 2014 when I turn 35 though……or get forged ID
It was a great day out, nice to have a ride without the dust. All the attendees punted along a decent pace and there were only minimal difficulties in a couple of spots.
The middle singles were the highlight for me as usual and it was food ride with some new faces. Keystone was markedly improved on return trip home, he didn’t look the same rider, I was sweeping and watching him style it up over the erosion mounds and undulations.
Murph and Timbo did it easy all day, nothing taxing for the ‘extreme team’ though I did see Time have a go at a rock ledge early in the piece and fail. In fairness no one else rode up it.
All in all it was a fun day, so much so I didn’t bail early and rode till the end. Regrettably I did have to run at the end so missed the bench racing in the car park
Funny highlight was passing Krusty on a single downhill section and worrying about cutting him up. In my efforts to look behind to check he hadn’t crashed as a result I cross rutted and crashed myself hahahaha!!!! Serves me right I suppose! He did throw sand in my eye earlier in the day though so we’ll call it square
Sorry Axel but I agree with Jimmy. Basics physics as you mention is responsible for ensuring any load on the front wheel or the forks is transmitted evenly through both forks and the triple clamps.
Since they are fixed at both the top and the bottom I see there can be no other outcome. How do you think MTB and the new separate function forks work with comp in one leg and reb in the other?
Dirt from the brake doesn’t seem overly credible to me either since my seal started to leak having not seen mud of any kind for months, however, at least it is possible unlike the other theory.
Seems like an alright sort, hahahaha!
kamakazi-rocket wrote:Yeah mate for sure. When i looked in the tank back at home I still had 4 ltrs in there enough for another 1/2 an hour maybe? Im not sure how much is actually left on the reserve but i will drain tomorrow an see so i have a better idea :silly: or maybe just through the big tank on next time
Good times ahead :cheer:A honda CRF has a 4L reserve? How big is the tank, I thought the tanks on the CRF’s held like 9 or 10 litres. That would mean you hit reserve at 40% fuel level? Doesn’t sound quite right to me……..
You’ve either measured 4L wrong  😆 or didn’t actually hit reserve
It will be sweet with that set-up mate and not even close to being lean or causing damage to your motor.
Set the airscrew at 1.5 turns out and adjust from there. In (clockwise) is richer, out (anti-clockwise) is leaner. Adjust initially in 1/2 turn increments to see which way feels best and then tweak in 1/4 turn increments
Entry point isn’t likely to be Palmdale. It will be from another secret spot. Rides entering at Palmdale usually start near there to save riding all the blacktop.

All good lessons learned for when you organise your ride mate
STM
I was organising rides on this site before you we’re even a member
All my rides are top secret now though, if you lived closer you’d be invited to the inner circle
