God knows what I’m doing then. I would be happy using .MOV. If I get more time at the wekend then I’ll try and see what filetype has been successfully imported and see if I can repat the results……

I’m going to try running my camera stuck to the chest of my body armour on the weekend. I figure it won’t be much different to using a chest strap and I have 2 of those massive flat mounts that come with the camera so it won’t go anywere.

See how I go. I took my first bit of footage last weekend, man it looks slow! The camera was angled a bit too low as well (despite me checking the viewing angle on my phone) as I was constantly trying to look up when watching it on the computer :D The quality was good though at 720.

I’ve also sussed out a good sport to run on it on the side mouthpiece of my helmet but I need to sort out a curved mount to run it there.

Cheers guys, I don’t know how it happened last night but one of the movies got loaded into iMovie. I tried all of the import functions, drag and drop from Finder and from a copy on the desktop as your picture tutorial Scotty but I kept getting error messages.

I then converted a file to MP4 using Handbrake and before it even had converted the file I re-opened iMovie and there was a movie in there.

So, I don’t really know how it happend….lol!

I know .MOV is a quicktime filetype, being that Apple invented quicktime you would think it would work seamlessly with iMovie though right? I guess it’s like hoping Apple will let you use your phone as mass storage too huh ;)

I wonder if there is a way to change the output file type on the Liquid Image camera as there is no way I’m going to convert every clip I record into a different file format just to be able to do a quick edit in iMovie.

That or iMovie is going in place of Adobe software.

Hero HD2 unless you get another older one for cheap, cheap. Depends how much you think you’ll use it really. I’d consider that and then decide how much I’m willing to pay.

In my mind, go big or go home :D

How do I get the movie files into iMovie? They are .MOV format but iMovie doesn’t recognise it. I cant drag and drop and when i try the ‘import’ feature it tries to download the file and then right at the end it says it can’t complete the operation???

Starting to crack the shits with iMovie! It’s easy to use……..once you’ve pissed about making the files available. Do I need to save them as a different format?

The front suspension feels a bit slow to turn but i think the legs are sticking up through the triple clamp to much ( approx 15mm).

Having the forks up through the clamps makes turning in faster, not slower. This more than likely confirms you have poor clicker adjustments and/or (more likely) too much rear sag/wrong spring weights :)

Don’t worry Westy, we’ll have you ripping in no time B)

I might take my sponsors bike out at Ourimbah this weekend. I’d like to thank my sponsor Bankwest for this past season and how well the bike has been running, I’ really couldn’t have done it without them.

A big thanks to team BankWest Hamworthy Husaberg :)
