Hey ECKS – i’m gunna need better directions …
I’ll be heading in from a Parkes direction… so through Peak Hill to Tomingley,
are we heading in West of Tomingley ? or East of Tomingley on the road through to Obley?
Cheers
Scott

It would seem logical really.Dunno about the DRZ whitewash, given the success of Honda in so many desert events over the last few years. KTM also build bikes specifically for these events so a poor old stock standard DRZ, even if it has bits bolted on, is unlikely to take line honours any time soon!
Good point, the Hondas kicked ass at Condo, its just a shame they didn’t finish. Its a bit of an old bull young bull thing, you’ll understand one day Grasshopper….
(maybe the whitewash was a bit tongue in cheek)
Bloody Hell… after a ride with you boys i feel like an old bull.. gunna be sore tommorrow.
Cheers for the ride guys, good to meet a few new faces.
See Ya out there again.

ScottHey Chris,
Welcome to OBT.. i just signed up to… the DRZ’s appear strong in Old Bull, pity you didn’t still have the Green one, although i assume you steer that WR just as well.
See Ya out there mate.

Austblue, if you like i can show you a couple of twin tracks from the edge of the forest to the Pines. It just swings around the base and climbs up to wishing well, then crosses to come out on the single track running into the Pines.
Then you don’t have to drive into the forest, can leave the cars at the Martinsville Oval.Thats supposed to be Noob by the way.

seems like a nice introduction to the wattagans (or a wet introduction if the past week is anything to go by)
Cheers
JulianI went for a run on Saturday, there is a bit of water lying around but its not to bad. The clay is s*#t down low, but up top around the Pines the black soil is pretty good, big puddles but only shallow.
Suspension for sure. Changes the bike dramatically as you will find they are a taildragger.
I also dropped the front shocks ten mill in the triple tree to make it turn quicker in single track.
DRZ’s are great, the useable torque is just fantastic…
i’m up for it if theres room… Grade 3 is ok.
