Thanks Lads, was a long time in the planning, and I may have oversimplified the effort and time that went into it a little…. ;)
However it is a true “mini big-bore” it just has oodles of torque, is not scary and is so very forgiving to ride, the suspension loves the power delivery and it all works well, and there is little left to improve for my needs.

Nickj, how do you know of Hyundai hill?

are you the Nick out of yamba area I hear of :) ?

if so brother we will ride soon…..

Mick, no arm pump, plush and easy going these days, frentic is for young people, me old Blokey now, need armchair ride…

I was going to build a ls3 6 speed auto Rodeo ute this year, but I guess the poor old v6 will have to manage 400,000ks before being replaced now.

Next engine for this bike will be around 390cc, when I find a cheap pair of cases to machine, and the stroker crank is already underway, will gather all the goodies and hopefully around second top-end for the 325, I will assemble the 390……. and baby it will be lug and chug then…. never need to get above 6k rpm, topends should be 200 hour jobs and be the laziest old 2T ever

Let forth the Frankenbike, gentle as a lamb, exactly what I envisaged and was after….

unfortunately there were some glitches, the head design was not compatible with our Bass strait wateroil, and the compression was over 1750kpa, a 270 lb man standing on it barely moved the kicker, it was not a practical bike, even though it ran and sounded tough as. so the head was pulled and sent to Dave at TSP for major surgery, Dave did well on the first one outside of ther USA with no specs except those we came up with.
so the head returned looking like a naturalised fair dinks Aussie.
custom gearlever and LED headlight are last touch along with some stripping unnecessary bits from rego

so Frankenbike is birthed. an original 2003 Adr’d YZ250wr built originally by YZ engineering, now a hybrid
YZ325 (little bit of TRX 300 DNA) true WR, automatic, dual rear brake controlled, weighing in under 100kilos without fuel.

    DSCF6913_zpsa2ab1a97.jpg

for these custom sets CR123 WR 45

    Redtrx250_zps619cf7f0.jpg

and while I hated the whole 4 wheeler thing, the engine was like…. OMFG this thing is a torquemonster… what is going on here?

so I did some searching and found a bloke who had thought the same, and decided to mix some bits and cast some parts…. like these
