And seeing as I have to breath twice as often, trust I won’t be.

but think it’s a foggy morning several warriors are geared up for the battle, mighty steeds are in the background the air is thick with their harnessed noise “ting ting ting” their battlesmoke drifts into your nostrils and you are cast into a different zone “I love the smell of castor first thing in the morning”.

    That’s my world.

Unfortunately I believe none of the “exotic” large bore smokers have been ADR’ed as of yet, the AF500 Honda or Kawasaki, none of the Maico’s or the Can Ams’ or those british one either.

A 300 smoker is probably the most competent allrounder out there $$$ for $$$ wise, it does nothing badly, and somethings brilliantly, just watch Erzberg or Enduro-cross footage to confirm.
One day TB you will welcomed back into the church of the faithful, and you shall be anionted (don’t get too excited Boony & Menace) on the forehead with the most sacred of oils R30.

I know of a few recent model GG 2Ts that have had main bearing issues, weather it was a certain batch or not I don’t know.

certainly worth a good look if you are in the market for a 300.

The EC300 I rode (before the dealer burnt down) was very soft in the power dlivery compared to a KTM300, very tractible and predictable, the new Husky300 I’ve been told is a firebreathing hanimal, and from what I’ve seen real world versus magazineland depends how much advertising dollars get spent with the mag as to where it comes in the shootout….:( .

All sound advice so far Mr D Boone, everybike i get gets suspesnion sorted by experts, it is #1 on the new bike to do list.

get a few opinions, cause some are better at certain bikes than others.

If I had a KTM ( :S ) ever again (NOT PDS not on yer nelly) it would go to a certain well known man in sydney, but conventional forks in a bannana boat probably not.

maybe one of your little blue tablets would help in this area Boony?

Austblue it’s been done heaps of times, and it does work to a degree, but what gains you make in efficiency you also lose in exhaust “tuneability” as you are restricted to a short header section straight into the slincer section, then you’ve got wethering and impact damage as a larger risk on your intake side.
At this point the trade-offs are not worth it.

Sometimes when you’re on a bike (road or dirt) you can reach a state of nirvana, almost at one with your machine. this feeling becomes my “zone” and everything just floats and is effortless, until you stop and the energy levels are depleted, but while you are there, t’is magic.

good to see Moto you are getting the feeling of what it is all about.

Ok I’ve been waiting patiently for further info, but….. so come on you Orange laddies spill the beans ;)

Unless it’s a trade secret that is, the most I’ve got to is two2cool, which seems to help.

the new 310 Husky sounds a good thing for S/T devotees, there are a lot of people hanging to try one out round here (me included) and there is a good video of a 390 berg ad on youtube somewhere……….
