SNAKE!
My old nava full face had press studs on it from the factory, and i bashed it hard enough to rupture the sack of fluid at the front of my brain and break my skull, but the press studs never nmoved, though the attachments (peak etc) ripped out.
So I’d say it’s been figured as part of the teting regime’ where they drop a pointed weight onto the helmet to ensure piercing is not an issue under AS/NZ 1698 2006-’07, as I know it was under the older standard.

Trail bikes for trails,
Trials bikes for trials.
So is this a rock in the middle of the trail? or a trail leading into a
trials section?
BCThanks Sutto’s and Old Bulls hierachy, I’ve been contemplating a set for a while, but couldn’t justify the price, so when T/B put this up, had a spare note in my wallet mocking me, Rang Jarrod, he was ever so helpful, went to the bank, deposited the amount with postage, and the deal is sealed.

Now there’s 19 sets availiable…

We have a local fabricator, i used him for stuff before and i don’t mind paying my way but he charged me like i was the State rail corp, or the council and ended costing me more than an aftermarket one when he spent ten minutes on it. Went to him cause we used him for two of my workplaces maybe he don’t like me too much.
Nah I’m determined to make my own, have done heaps more complicated than this but want this to be Mickey Duck and was when my FIL lived next door and he’s an engineering whizz, with a lot of gear, what he didn’t have I did, but got out of that scene for a while and so sold the lathe and other bit’s ‘n pieces.

Thanks heaps Ollie, much as i thought, to help it I’m going to run 3 or 4 aluminium channel pieces inside to reinforce it, or I have another piece that is around 4mm but is very hard alloy and thought it might be a bit messy to bend.

Hey Scott do you know who built the first fully legal roatry powered corolla in NSW?.
It was a Ke-36 panelvan with initially a 12a extend port and celica 5 speed and celica trd 3.7 clutched diff, 12.5″ fully floating brakes on the front, a roll centre of 20 cm, weight bias of 55/45, handled like a sports sedan, full chassis XU1 springs over TRD struts, had over $40K spent on it by the late 80s’, over 60k by the time it was let go. Had a consulting engineer all the way through the build.
And within two years cause it paved the way with the RTA there were at least 5 more done all featured in glossy mags as groundbreaking. It finished at 1150 Kgs, 13B TO4, 350+ RWHP, top speed of 240+, 1/4 mile was a disappointment cause it was set up for roundy roundies
Cause that’s where my first house went……

Quote:I dont know, I found a rego check station that just checked the lights, seat belts, drove it down the drive & back and did the brake test in the office by tilting up the test instrument, he even gave me a discount for paying cash!
Got the rego and now the car needs brake work, new exhaust and tyres.
Go figure! Now weknow because you are a decent honorable gentleman that you will bring your car up to the required safety standards, (esp cause you ride a beemer) but what about the half-wits he lets get away with this while our families are on the same roads, especially dodgy brake tests.

same as my old one beatle, good solid mounts too, just watch the rear takes some getting used to and don’t put a trials tyre on it stuffs the steering geo up too much and tucks under everywhere.
big tanks and big bottom end and unbreakable, good buy too, exactly what i sold mine for.
