So whats it feel like Mr Blue for you to have big blouses riding away from you all the time:laugh:
While i may wear pink pants I refuse to wear the undies or top, cause i sold my nosediving Kato to buy a bike with real cornering ability, cause S/Tracks have fast bits between them, and I like going around corners without understeer
Haven’t had a KTM ride away from me on on windy ballbearing flattrack or logging roads yet, and I’m an old slow fat bloke on a little twofiddy smoker, and I don’t ride with that many KTM riders :woohoo: , not that many katos in the crew anyway, just yamaha 450s, honda 450s, husky 450s, TTR250, YZ125wr, YZ250wr, DRZ300, KTM 300/450/525s etc etc.
Heavily modded kawasaki KLX680s with mental Kiwi pilots now that’s a different story, and the occassional joker on a 250 smoker.

Its shows the magnitude and effect that OBTs has along with the geographic differences between members. We are now truly a nation wide site and obviously expanding at a phenomenal rate warranting the moderators to also expand their admin team to keep everything I check and above board.Secondly I think the choice that was made reflects the common sense and professionalism shown by the recipient of the decision.
The site can only blossom from here as we now have another moderator, and the member that has been inducted into this role will embrace his new roles with gratitude, pride, and dedication.Congratulations Old bulls admin team, we are all winners from this decision

Suzuki built outstanding race bikes, often the class leaders particularly in handling and suspesnion areas but in recent years the focus in off-road models has become “fuzzy” like no leadership is forthcoming in the offroad motorcycle division. Their roadbikes ARE the ones to beat, and set the benchmarks for over 2 decades now, surely this vision could be applied to the off-road division as well. They have some of the best designers and engineers in the game, but seem to be lacking the intenstinal fortitude to challenge the buying public like they used to.
Bruce
Very Clever, very very clever, you can subjugate the rebellion by offering the leaders positions of influence.
Old tactic but still effective on the uninitiated.
So we have a spider-moderator eh?
WTG Mr Menace I’m sure you can be a Batman to Boonies Joker.BC

That’s very nice of you to offer, Now a maico would be nice but impractical, and I would dearly love a new YZ300WR, but alas they are not made so I’ll make mine an ’10 Husqvarna WR300 please.
Or second choice maybe a KLX450 just for giggles and firetrails

You are on the money there Mr Blue as per usual.
I am in the wholesale business and our lead time fromm ordering product to recieving it is 5 months. When the economy slowed and consumers kerbed their spending our stock continued to flow in as per forecast. The forecast generally comes three months before order confirmation so that is a massive 8 months lead time. Even at best case scenario it is like turning off the tap and having the water continue to flow for five months before stopping.
Australian businesses are over stocked and that means one thing in the old supply demand equatiuon. The buyer wins!
Bugger that an eight month lead time to guesstimate the fickle trends of consumers. I also think that wholesale discounting and price drops do help stimulate the economy as part of an overall approach, for instance I spent $40 more than I planned to at the bike shop yesterday and it may only be a few bux here and there, but a 10% rise in sales figures or stock turnover would be enough to kickstart the whole economy into confident mode again. We believe or not are doing it easy here compared to the other players in the global system, we have good sound business and political leaders on a whole, and the Australian public are not given to mass panic like , …oh say the Yanks.
