Boat Smoat, ditch the boat and do the carport man! boas are for Old Blokes with nothing better to do than go fishing or Yarting around the bay, you Mick are a Man in the prime of his life seeking adrenaline and adventure on land where sharks don’t venture.

Personally Mick I’d be defending the Brothers and Sisters with banjos claim first, wonder if the extra MSG did his head in, or he’s a raving looney having issues with Cow-farts?

Maybe it’s Burger King knocking off the opposition?

Mick is there any money in local/regional newspapers or is it a labour of love?

Just thinking about becoming the next Rupert M.

I don’t mind the rain 40 degree summers are starting to take a toll on this old bod though.

Mr.Blue..seeing as you like your Dunlop 952 Soo much…i feel it is my obligation to offer you…a “Spare” Dunlop 952 with near 1000 k life left on it, to match the one you obvioulsy like so much…  ..I HATE buying tyres…yet seem to do it often for the rear of my 610. Currently I am undergoing “Fright therapy” with a near new “Dunlop 606″…I was toild it would offer some “fair Grip”….well to be fair..perhaps the “fair Grip” is relevent to some Fairly Gay Fairy…

Thanks Mr 610, a very generous offer, but (un)fortunately I must decline, see i have had my share of fright therapy recently, see I owned a KTM300 with PDS and a trials tyre before the YZ. And I have done my time with Yamaha ITs…

Hey rocket, how did you find the low end? cause I rode one that was like an old ’86 RM250 or ’87-88 Cr250 on hypersteroids, real doughy but sorta luggy down low and then midrange comes along and …Hhhhhhhhoooooooooolllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyy cccccccccccow this thing is insane, and then up a gear and the same again, very old school power delivery with new age “ommph”

Yeah have been known to have a trip or two Mr Menace, however I do like modern fourstrokes would jump at the opportunity to ride a new Hussy maybe with a slipper clutch it may be enough to get me wondering, rode a beautifully tuned and setup CRF450R a few months ago beautiful machine, but got back on the YZ and in staright line we were neck and neck until top (he had the legs) but in the bush I was like a fish outa water the engine braking and lack of absolute instant response from down low, oh sure they respond once the revs get up to 2K or so, but not me yet, luckily I like modern 2 strokes.

Rode my mates freshned ’06 300exc on Sunday on sharp knarly hillclimbs and the lug was an old friend I remember well, but no where as quick on the throttle as the YZ is, but refuses to flame out unless in deep sand.

I am not surprised at this given the reports of those who have tried them, apparently they turn like a much smaller capacity andhave excellent handling.

On the two stroke front we will always welcome new brethren into the fold and those who have fallen from grace and sucuumed to the sirens alure of the valve cult we will always forgive you too our lost sheep.
