Hang in there Mr Rat (got a hat?) I had to drop the price $500 on a beautiful ’06 with as much as you could get away with scruntineering in SE QLD, had MPE tuned suspenders, the big carby, the hardparts pipe, cleaned up in side, two clutches, three seats, braided brakes and a few billet bits, all because the dealers are selling the older model for next to nothing ATM apparently.

You’ll move it, it’s a ripper can only imagine the acceleration it has.

My point is made because I have been stuck on cold mornings with a lazy battery on roadies, when I would’ve killed for a kicker, and I didn’t realise any dedicated dirtbikes came standard with only E-start. I mean softroader yeah, but trailbikes!! what happens if you drown it?.

I think the companies are getting a bit carried away with this one yet, both would be tErrific, but one only nah sorry I’ll kick.

WTF  a kickstarter is an option on a DIRTBIKE, when did this happen? if I had to one or the other, the right leg is the one I’ll choose (or left leg if it’s some euros or an old honda CR).

Yep, everyone else knows what you’re doing before you’ve made your mind up.

And if someone needs a helping hand it’s there before you know it.

and if someones riding your bike around (or worse) You WILL find out.

The people who do this are not in any way bike or 4WD enthusiatists, they are meatheads, morons, and worse.

Just like not all soccer fans are football hooligans.

Bleedin’ shame though, cause i know first hand how much the parkies and state forests blokes love “their” accolpishments, that probably would’ve been some ordinary navvy field workers project he championed, convinced his bosses to do and then got done.

Actually quite desireable car if you ask me, (which you didn’t)

This has sorta happened to me.

New roadbike on friday 14K- rode it down from Brisbane, put it in shed, dying to go for a ride up the mountain, but gotta do training for work.
Saturday sitting in ambulance office doing Senior first aid, looks out window sees my NEW bike going past, two up!!!!!

1/4 of an hour later good mate and my missus appear and she comes in to tell me he had run out of fuel up the road and her mum had her car, so she got on the back to make sure he didn’t ride it like an idiot.
I was still pissed at them though, he coulda walked the ten Ks back with fuel:unsure: couldn’t he have?

Come on Moto, what if the posterers IQ is less than his shoe size, and he rides a 650, and has posted more than either, wouldn’t that be deserving?
(this is in no way a shot any anyone member of OBT, as I believe quite a few of us could qualify for this particular prize)

Hey Lads do the BRPs’ run a 520 chain?, cause I’ve fairly well always run clip type masterlinks even on big HP roadbikes, never ever lost one yet, but they run a much heavier gauge and pitch.

Turnips and swedes, still dislike them, nothing much has changed.

Lota licence issues here, having said that the worst roadbike riders I see are mature aged “cruiser’ jockeys’ many of them have no idea, have seen two take tumbles in the last twelve months making very basic mistakes.
Having a car licence for 30 years doesn’t prepare you for a motorcycle methinks.

This is great T/B, I’m gunna be up for two new rims at least by next year, as the front has 2 good dings and the rear has a small crack apearing, and at that price I’ll get two whole blingy wheels without running around sourcing spokes and hubs and cajoling my mate Terry to lace them for me etc.

Better start putting my pennies away, so when mine finally crack up I’m ready to go.

Hello Murray, (I may call you Murray may I?) welcome to the gentlemens exclusively offroad dirtbike riding club, where only the finest and most discerning dirtmotorbicyclists gather to swap stories of derring-do and ideas of a lofty nature old chum.

Hmm Bullocks are you insinuating your dear friend Murray rides a bike flat out briefly in straight lines only jumps obstacles and spends months in a hospital, and likes to show in front of crowds in a tight suit with a Cape?

    Sounds like Menace to me.

Question for the electronically minded out there.

A recent post on TT had me thinking, My bike is supposed to run an “R” plug (as have all my last dozen bikes) but I obviously don’t, never have on any of them just use standard old NGK–ES, could this cause some sort of disturbance in the ignition system and shut it down?
