I love minimalist styling like that, Forks are only too thin if there is too much flex Moto, probably talking to the right bloke cause doesn’t wall thickness play a major part in strength ? ;) and the side covers/seat/radiator guards are horn as.
Benelli made the first six cylinder motorcycle too I seem too remember, dunno if it is a continuation of the same company or just a bought name and rebirthed though.

I’m only here because you all make it easier to avoid work and the real world where people actually want me to do stuff can you believe the cheek of them???, but no fair dinks, you’re going great guns Mick, good natured, non-partisan and good humoured one of the resident “characters”, and believe me, no character = Batpoop boring.

Glad you don’t work with me though, they’d catch on too quickly

Bridgestone make good roadbike tyres and they’re expensive too.

I believe that tyre choice can be very subjective on off-road vehicles riding style and power delivery alone can make a mockery out of a otherwise well meant recommendation. Personally I like a tyre I can “feel” and that will slide when asked to and tolerate really low pressure at other times to give me a footprint.

This is why I prefer the Dunlops. But will read TBs’ finding with interest even though essentially his bike is the other end of the spectrum from mine in off-road design criteria.

You obviously haven’t taught me enough Bruce because it won’t be a YZ250WR :P

You know what they say Moto, once you try a linkage and blue, orange feels like Poo

Actually one of the Blokes on DBW (an older fella too) bought a YZ250WR but doesn’t like it overly as I think the power delivery beats him up too.

Also that’s because you “Ys” are soft and lazy, that’s why the Jappas are cutting back on two strokes, cause our mob’s getting old and soft, and your mob was just born that way:silly:

Take one for a ride Moto, I’ll wager you won’t wipe the silly grin of your Boatrace for hours afterwards……….B)

Al I’ve said it before I’ll say it again, as one of our elder statesmen you are still teaching humility and wisdom to the less experienced, quick question though… Whats your next bike gunna be?

I’m impressed, but then again I am very impresionable.

Took the main bear holder out with it too, new block?

Tolerances I guess would be measured with a tape measure in those buggers, no need for those finicky Micrometers and bore gauges……:P

    Bloody fourstrokes.
