Thr rocks aren’t sentient characters but I feel that we do have to give an honourable mention to Fraggle Rock here :P

    fraggle_rock.jpg

Ahh but I beg to differ young Moto, for i have observed a rock and a daisy commenting on other characters in that particular comic strip, now for one to have an opinion one must at least be in nature sentient and aware of ones own being.
    therefore the Rock ROCKS.

Yes and fraggle rock was somewhat amusing in a pre-teen sorta Jim Henson way.
    But Beaker….. now he rocked

    This thread rocks.

The people who post here have rocks in their heads
They should have rocks thrown at them
And they must have huge rocks.

    All in all it ROCKS

maybe I should change my name to

    BIG BLUE ROCKEATER

    see that’s on topic

    Now where’s that rock??

From dim dark distant memory the FIM (or it’s predecessor) banned plastic tanks from competition due to a few early examples splitting.

    Two Points

#1- Mr Menage’ Would never be seen dead in chaps unless chainsaw chaps whilst actually using saw, chaps offer little to no protection where I need it most… butt and groin, especially on Oxford street premises.

#2- Had a new large heavy duty zipper put in mine, cost $40 all up, compared to purchase price of new suit was around 15%

I’m more than mildly intersted in the quality/longevity of these too TB, have been less than impressed with my last three sets of DID that have resulted in two dented badly, and three cracked, now before saying I’m rough, have only have one flat during this time, so I am less than impressed with the quality of Alloy or consistant quality at least in what was the leading rim.

Young fella has Talon wheels on one of his bikes, very true and tough little rims.

I worry about some of your comments Moto, why would you want to be known as the Bloke with nice boobies?? methinks you need a picture of Julian Clary as your avatar, and change your user name to MissMoto.

My Favourite parts of the pressure suit is

Kidney belt- never ever ever ride with out a kidney belt since I was a kid, even got two at home well over 25 years old, yes I have had bruised and bleeding internals.

Spine protector- IMHO the single most important part of bodily proctection, know far too many MXers with spinal damage, even moreso than neck and head injuries, people tend to forget how vunerable our backs are in the event of an off.

The fact that mine is open weave mesh and hell sexy, thinking about wearing to the next Oxford Street party……….

R30 was/is a castor based oil, many of todays syntehetics have used this as a base compound so I’ve been told, yes it smells great, nostalgia +++, no it’s not that great in Powervalved motors (gummy stuff), not good if stored in pre-mix for more than a week or two but yes i too have used it sucessfully in direct oiler smokers (RG250 Gamma, RG500 square four, RZ350R, RZ500/640 V4) with great success but as TB has said technology has marched on and I now myself reccommend Mobil syntehetic 2 stroke oil, basically they’re all good now, and for what its worth current silkolene top line smoker oil still smells like R30 (Castor based), but is a bit too OTT $$$ for everyday riding if you ask me.
