I agree fix your own one, the outlay doesn’t seem too bad and it is a known quantity, the rest is pure emotion of buying another cycle.

TB there is nothing like the feeling of watching helplessly as your seven year old pulls 10 metres on you by squaring off out of a tight berm, and his sister is filming the whole thing and laughing manically.

Young Wyldman I believe you may have an inkling of where I reside,;) for all else out there in Dirtbike land (that’s what Ben meant I’d say) I live very very very close to the border ranges between Qld & NSW slightly inland from the madhouse coastal dwellers and I work even closer to Gods’ own single track country.

Clutch nut too loose has done that on my young fella’s pro-seniors and his MA, if not seated on the shaft it spins and then catches. Each time was my fault for not cleaning the shaft of old Locktite and then undertorquing the nut.

It is a real problem if your nuts are undertorqued

Crikey Ben, she was running so sweet just a little while ago too, we also have a spare bike at home, unfortunately you not being a small lad and all may upset the balance of a 36kg 50cc vicious-clutched pro-senior!.

Any demo bikes out there you could trial?
