I love it when a bloke gains skill and enjoyment from using it…

(Everybody else please ignore this tongue in cheek response)
Actually Tb I was sitting here wondering why he was asking as well, without being too nasty it’s justa push on, pull off fitting isn’t it? if it is I’ll send my son over to show you Boony, he replaced the one on his Kx60 and laced it down the steering head with a longer one, from a piece of 1/4′ fuel line he cut off the roll cause the ones that sit up a few inches above the cap with an alloy fitting on top (like he had) are eye gougers.
Hey Corey I’m interested in the tyres off the outriggers, they’re the same as my removalists trolleys and need a couple of new ones…..
Honestly though at that price you’d think one of these blokes woulda picked it up for their grandkids wouldn’t ya, it’s a bargain… Boony it’s a mini-bannana go on you know you want it?
Menace you’re thinking about little-ones, here’s an opportunity to get things happening, you know “have the big, just need a kid now” sorta impetus….
It’s your birfdae tumurra Mr Menace
enjoy, have a great day and be safe my friend.
(One of the few Viccos, I’ve taken a liking to, they’re abloody rare breed, these menaces…

Yep both got pretty good eyesight, not sure on attitude though…., Kayse just isn’t a motorcycle kid, a whizz on BMX but not a throttle jockey that’s for sure, she only rides occassionally if she’s bored.
Brenton though, he was riding almost as soon as he could has spent countless hours on bikes at 9 he’s already owned 6, but what was happening(stil is to a degree) is he get’s far too brave and goes like a bat out of hell for a while and then forgets to slow down when he should be, same on a quad or a BMX, just airbourne everywhere or sliding and grinning.
Have no idea where he gets it from?????

Yeah in a 100 acre paddock TB goes and parks right where a kid will loose control, run 20 meters off the track and crash into his trailer on full throttle. Yep I am pretty sure he is liable.
Yep that’s kid, they focus on the vehicle, lost count of how many times Brenton & Kayse hit my utes when they were little, and the fence, and the washing line, and the shed, and me, and the dogs, and the ginuea pig cage…Oh and i forgot the house was a target too.

yeah, after mulling over the idea a bit i think i’ll have to lash out on some flash ones…
Hmmmm, i think black ones would go nice.
what is the go with the ASV ones Bruce, are they any lighter?
mine are fully adjustable from the factoryso i lose out on that advantage
now im thinking under bar dampner while im there
wish my moneytree was an evergreen
Mate the ASV ones are pretty light and very well made, mine have rubber dampener mounts as well, in black ano so it’s pretty functional and looks the snizzle.
You reckon your’s needs a steering shock absorber?
I may throw a lot of crap at PDS, but the recent models I’ve ridden are pretty nice steering and stable enough at speed, certainly not what I’d call “nervous”, unless you glance off something silly, which is pilot error.
If you’re worried about it being nervous and you’re in the market for new triples, maybe one of the other offsets would help?
Mate I personally reckon, new rings at 100 hrs, just to keep it sliding true, and then new topend at 200, they are bullet proof, but not magic, and the rings can be seen as minor maintenance, like chainging gearbox fluid. Don’t even crack the head, just barrel base nuts and base gasket….
Agree with the lads on the triples too, just replaced my twisted upper one with a fully adjustable asv one, it’s gooodddd as gold mate.
Just do it, cause if the other one breaks I don’t need to go to vicco for a wheelchair run.

im really happy with the condition of its innards though. i was expecting a little scoring or a bit of lip, but nothing :woohoo:
cant wait for the postie so i can wack it back together
im already dreading putting those f**king gudgeon clips in though
next fear to face will be my triple clamps. im not sure whether or not to fix them with a hammer and risk major damage to myself if they snap, or bin them and get some faster flasher ones
if you get a lip in the composite bore it means the coating is GOOOONNNNNNEEEE and you’re toasty marshamallowed, but KTMs have one if not the best plating around. Piston clips put one in on the bench, piece of cake, the other sorta “wind” it in using fingers, or get a real short bit of pipe around the same id as the od of the wrist pin and using a bolt with a good fit push it in using bolt and thumb pressure, You’ve got a god set of hands on you you’ll piss it in.
Maybe next time it’ll get150 hrs -
