We started calling new italy, “New Idiot’ as for a while the QLDers were just coming down the hwy and parking in a few hundred metres and riding like loonies, outa control and on main access roads and the obvious S/T.
Mostly ride just south and inland a way from there lately.
No Nick, but someones’ Mum was pissed as I’d reckon.
Yep used to be able to get a log jinker up and down it, now you might get a d6 up if you are a good operator
That’s why I posted it lads, was only half scanning it thinking “grovel, grovel, platitude, inane dribble, hail the mighty….WTF and realised they were telling the truth.
So had to applaude them, it is one thing to become corrupted it is far stronger to regain your impartaility.
Keep it up ADB and I may renew my subscription after i accidently let it lapse.. ………………………………………………… ………………… ………………………………………………. in 1997
That’s the one Trev, been all washed out with rock steps in it last time I was there, 4 weeks ago.
Was out there with Matt Ado, the fully loaded soloman of S/T……Nickj wrote:

For Camerons Corner I will be riding my DRZ 400 its the only bike I own ( apart from a 1978 Honda xl250s  ) so I use it for pretty much everything
I have looked at the Dr650 but I’m going to see how the 400 goes!!Nick

27 yrs now I’ve been putting up with my wife, being supportive, riding bikes with me, having kids, making a home, holding down her career, allowing me to spend too much money on stuff.
Wish she’d stop it, so I could be like all the other blokes and whinge about the “Ball & Chain” or “handbrake”.No for real up until the kids we both had bikes she had a ZXR750, but she doesn’t like riding dirtbikes but is more than happy to come along with the kids and I, or just let us be, even buys us stuff, because she knows the sport so she is confident in buying the gear.
Actually a few yrs ago she came home in my ute from her work with a ’90 model CR250 tied down in the back, just to compliment my ’92 I had restored, saw it on the side of the road for sale, talked turkey with the bloke started it listened to it and bought it for a bargain price.BTW she also disliked my KTM300
Now you can’t ask for any more than that.

Hello Trev, my good fellow.
Anexcellent part of the country is where you reside, with a beaut climate, excellent riding areas abound, and of course some of the most skilled awesome fellow dirtbike riders in the southern hemisphere.
I myself reside in the nearby centre of Casino, we are well known for our love of cattle and all things Cow.
Now if perchance you wish to reacquaint yourself with some of natures most wonderous escape spots for a man and his motorcycle, please hesitate not to yell.Actually there’s a biggish group of my riding mates going out this weekend, unfortunately i had to excuse myself from that group due to business obligations, but if your keen going out to a secret spot on saturaday morning for a leisurely cruise around the countryside with a mate of mine whom is on a KTM300.

Say NO to Devol.
Several of my YZ riding mates have them and to a man bent them in minor get-offs
Crikey TB, that’s a pretty harsh reality for some of us, always thought if I couldn’t ride again it’d be because I’m in a chair or worse. However I’d be like Michael, the kids ride and I enjoy watching them as much as participating myself, so that would have to do.

Woohoo a new 2T, gotta love that Huskybloke, they are beaut bike and have possibly the nicest most tractible engine around.
Well doneSo you really are “bigger”, Al?
Welcome Blondie, I echo my compadres’ respectful condolences

He is lucky to be alive as he wasn’t wearing a helmet either,he was on a unregoed bike on a main road. By all reports he had it coming, a know motorcycle thief with a blatant disrespect for the law. Last year he made off with a client of mine’s bike.Karma me thinks. On a completely seperate note from the young bloke in the original post.
Not often you will hear me utter this Michael, but yep if anyone has it coming it was probably the type of mongrel you speak of.
But will he learn? So did anyone here ever go and see any of the europeans race when they came here?
If so who were there tells us.

link won’t work for me TB.
I remember Broc Glover came out here on a (I THINK) KTM ride mid-eighties?, but by the time he was on them he was past his best, I got a freebie pass with some of the honda sponsered Blokes i rode with, was awesome as a young bloke to see how professional and cool the Yanks were and how blindingly fast over some of the sections of the tracks.
