either way works, it’s a distorted harmonics thing, two dissimilar materials and weight will help dampen different frequencies out.

Did it before on a few of my bikes, especially the big 4Cyls they get a real fine annoying vibe up in certain rev ranges (primary & secondary harmonics), have used glue poured in bars, Aftermarket bar end weights and was toying with the idea of some sort of tube and compressed air at one stage, but decided that actually may amplify the vibes.

Just clocking in and what do I find?

TB trying on a Mick Doohan.. the other day i told you to have a good trip, not break a leg, crikey buys himself a yamaha and the first thing he does is throws it away like it’s some sort of Austrian junk…..

Seriously Greg do EXACTLY as the doctors tell you, knee reconstruction is no joke.

And Maccas has no recognised healing properties, not even enough real meat in it to take away the bruising.

That is one tough race, the real meaning of reliability trial, where our modern enduros were birthed from.

Makes sense to me to leave these bikes a s stock as plausible, but I do agree there would have to be at least some minor tweaks for rider preferences and to ensure longevity.

I imagine the Honda CRF riders would be a bit cautious about entering this one…. ;)

Even the KTMs with the new engines would have to carry a spare few litres of oil to make it round as well…..

Good on the Yamaha blokes, at least there is one thing they seem to do well….

Now i know not everyone likes statistics, but I’m a bit of a mathematcian, 1 in two men will have had cancer by the time they are 80ish, prostate cancer is the one that has a probability increase as you get older, it is simple maths. You live long enough you’ll probably get it.

I’m in for charity rides if they are within 6 hr drive of me, and maybe our new jersey design could incorporate something to the effect of mens health, maybe make it a Cancer council type event….

It’s only soft alloy, so a good coarse pitch M8/10 and a decent hex drive and water pipe, and cut yer way through that olde timey Whitworth spirals…

And what’s more you could charge Ollie for the engineering at appropriate rates…. :P

But the wife saw that look in my eyes, and told me not to even think about it….

In some circles of Australia this is called “weighting” or handicapping, and generally Corey we don’t do it to friends, or family…. just face it apparently yer old man is quicker than you…

We all have to face it someday, usually it’s the other way around though… :P
