G’day Bmacca, a very nice choice of Motorbicycle is the Husaberg FE390, if one was to actually comtemplate a 4T, that would be the one, one would contemplate…….

Would be as lithe as a Ninja one would imagine………. ;)

everyone, including the commentators, keep telling me over and over again that it is special. would it be so special if people didn’t wank on about it?

OK bring it on bone heads, i can take it :P

you can fight me in this thread over the weekend whilst i out riding (unless i’m hiding under bed because of the rain)

I’m with Champo, the mix used to great, euros, jappas, swedes, pommie cars… but we got all sooky cause we couldn’t win so we changed the rules, killed my loyalty to the premier domestic series
Was watching sports sedans the other day and my son asked “are these the V8 supercars Dad?” I answered “no Brenno, these are the fast cars”

Can anyone tell me what part of the V8 supercars are Aussie?.

What does the manual say to do Mr ABlue?

Different engines require different techniques, is it an endless chain (no joining link) standard double row, single row?.

personally I would just do as you’ve said and thread it through using the old one as aleader, but there maybe some hidden traps, like in some older 4Ts you had to wind it backwards slightly after installation to engage the tensioner correctly.

Thanks TB, mucho appreciated would be the crowning touch on my front end.
I don’t think looking at Boonys they are the LEDs, but apparently if you can get the LED ones they give excellent vision with not a huge amperage draw, and as the “clown troop” I ride with sometime get carried away with time and don’t get out of the undergrowth until too late in the evening it could be a good thing with my one functioning eye.

Boony I reckon those lights look the part, but I’d mount them further down the forks for “show” only, was looking at a similar set on the net, but they reckoned they were LED which by all accounts is bloody brilliant.

A mate of mine has super trick DRZ300 and when underway you don’t notice the weight as much as you’d reckon, only when the going gets slow does it come into play, and the rear suspension has been worked over and is amagic carpet ride (like most zooks).

Horton orta be fun, the boys out there certainly know how to put on a meeting so go forth and conquer…..

Fester, one of them has a massive scar from a shark attack, and she’s the friendliest little mammal around, isn’t that one of the two?

how good is that swimming hole :)

That swimming hole has a bigger sister right above it, and has been the saviour of many a hot ride Boony, it’s part of the head waters of the clarence, the biggest river on the eastern seaboard. fresh, cool and fishing too, happens to be a sacred spot with the real locals too, and they’re a great mob of people as well.

Thanks Mr Mick, like Moto and Menace I too was revered for my boyband good looks when younger (last year?) and they just got better with age…. apparently  why cover that gift to the world with fuzz?? besides when I take the skidlid off it scares the snakes and other nasty critters off, like brahamn bulls and big lizards.

The big fella can pick a good line too, and he’s right the kato has sweet sweet steering and forks, motor is still the most user friendly enjoyable around ( and never missed a beat, and while PDS has improved I still detected the signature “kick”, but far less so than even ’07 models, maybe they will get it close to right, glad you had a good time into the bargain.

Did 8 hours on sunday on the other side of the scrub Sunday Mr Menace, found some really knarly tight challenging stuff, that even the snakes think is too windy, and the goats too steep…. and yes i fell off multiple times knocking the wind right outa me.

You’re more than welcome young Menace, thought I was looking in a mirror when I saw you, thought “gees he’s a good looking fella, good breeding obviously, no wonder his dearest let’s him get away with all his antics”…. :P

seriously, there is talk of the whole group of Border Boyz doing an epic camping/riding do, either up on the border or at what we lovingly call “camp napalm death” riding from the beache to the great dividing and back again all bush, and nothing but.

Will keep you posted, and of course any other old Bulls that wish to partake of some easy laidback laughs, and serious riding, with a good dose of humour provided by the resident and imported clowns of off-road motorbicycling…

BTW he’s not a bad Bloke for a KTM riding Mex the big fella is, we could easily make him new southerner easy as, maybe if he’d ridden the warlock he’d be sporting a new colour too… :P

Passing blood doesn’t sound real good, what goes there?

When kids are young they need to wear kidney belts, if they don’t and ride for long hours permanent damage can set in which can be escerbated over a lifetime and the kidneys don’t forgive + some idiot did his rear spring up saturday evening to suit a gorilla, to quote the 75kg Greg “Man how are you riding this thing it’s a hardwood plank, what the hell have you done to it?”

Gotta redo my sag methinks, I’m sure 50mm all up is outside optimum.

I disagree to an extent, if you are riding a dedicated roadbike on the trails all time and it breaks and you complain you’re a fool, and the inverse is also true.

The trick is to enjoy what you do, but do it properly and do it well.
