“doing” coffee eh Mick, oh how cosmopolitian you Wachopians have become, must be the Port MacQuarie influence creeping in eh?
Was there a little slice of something non-fattening to “do” as well with the coffee?

I personally wouldn’t put risers or tall bars on a motard for obvious cornering reasons.
I like my cornering more than standing straight so I have the lowest flatest bars I could find and no risers and it leaves me in the “attack” postion sitting or standing.
And I’m not short, nor tall just around the 178cm average.

Yep another slow friday in here, where is everyone? why aren’t they posting? got nothing interesting to post?…….just make something up, some people (Menace, Moto, Boony for example) do it all the time.

Austblue, I think all of them have the same problems with valve recession, some people manage to catch all the fine grit in a really heavily oiled filter, but if you oil the filter like I do mine your valves will be dusted in a few rides. A set of stainless valves are reasonably priced, may rob you of a little power (sweet FA) but will last for yonks. Some people people are even buying them new and getting the dealers to insert SS valves before they pick them up.
I believe it is the only real issdue with these bikes, they are a nice neutral handler with good oomph, a few hundred on SS valves and you’re set for life.

A bloke from Vicco bought one of my CR250s for pre-90 racing (’89 model) paid more for it than the schmiko ’92 McGrath GP replica I had.
As soon as I sold it I went “DOH!”

KT26s are still sold, up here they were the “popular” or wannabe kids shoes, we (dirtbike riders all two of us total out of 900 kids)wore dunlop volleys or elastic side riding boots, and JT, brothers nielsen or screenprinted long sleeved moto-style cotton shirts.
Our family had a DS80 1979 model twin shock red plastics, old man bought it brand new off Donny Pask, it was still in the family till late 90s’, couldn’t kill it with an axe went through 7 kids in our family alone.

Have you experienced a similar situation yourself Boony?

Taken a long long time to get to the masses and at that price it still will.
Something like this was originally developed for Michael Doohan after he smashed his leg at the dutch GP in ’92, I thought it was aripper idea then and still do. Don’t recluse make one as well?

Good stuff, maybe some of them will give up their slimey cohorts and the whole damn ring can do a little lifestyle thinking in a big house, usually the courts are fairly heavy on organised theft, it’s manslaughter/ unpremeditated murder and bashings they get all soft on.
Owners musta been on the ball and the police as well.

BMW don’t listen to Champo, he is one of the great unwashed masses, he rides anything anywhere. Making a 2T will turn you into a common everyday manufacturer, making lots of money and gaining market footholds equal to the big four, imagine the turnover and influence you could have. Now would any self respecting manufacturer want that?
Turnover, market saturation, product acceptance, no no no stay in your niche’ and live off the tidbits that you get from the top 5% you ‘elist” manufacutrers squabble over, leave the next 50% to the japps and other euros’BC
Menace looking mucho betterer now, good job.
Hopefully you will have love and affection poured upon your goodself comerserate with the effort you put in.
Re the “drag” racing, I actually think it’s more likely you two being a POM and a Mexicano that you two would rather dress up in womens gear and make-up and ride really fast.

Is a nice outcome for BMW, certainly a big effort.
“Vice” is very much the ternology the germans love, they have “vice Chancellors” as well.Is a country were alot of Vices are used……..

I had an old boss like that, owned as CRF250f for three years, had never even taken it in for a service or oil change, said it was all crap to make the dealers and oil companies money, I will now have the same motto towards you Moto as him (except he’s a complete and utter self-absorbed nutter) in regards to this…that is I will never buy a used vehicle off you.
Cause usually it’s the second owner that cops the problems see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catastrophic_failure
