    Hey Mr Squiggle.

“Iva” and I can only do a one day ride with you blokes that weekend. Which day will you be doing the run in your video?

    Cheers

    Hey Papasmurf,
Both days are good, the video is from day 2 mostly. Saturday is 88ks and a shorter day. Day 2 is slightly longer at 130ks :).

So we spent Australia day pre-riding the barringtons with Boydo and Dion from DBW and it was a bloody awesome day, thanks to boyto and Dion for the company.

Wet tracks everywhere with zero dust and riding in light rain for alot of the morning to make sure it stayed that way. Slippery enough to add some challenges but not enough rain to turn it into a tourture test.

We have put 3 more tracks in the Day one loop including dixies track (my new favourite), another hillclimb ( will post a vid ) which turned out to be jonsas prado hill, this is easy enough in the dry but with a bit of rain was harder and better. There are four new short singles to take away some twin track about 2 thirds in.

There are some new trees down right across our tracks so we pushed some trails around these.

Boyto has volunteered to help clear some overgrowth on the Friday if he can get the time off work, very keen to run you blokes through, and loving the time on the bike getting this ride sorted, its a win win :cheer:

Just letting you know Mr squiggle. I’m not going to be on this ride. 38 degree average over the three days isn’t my cup of tea. Maybe next time.

    Boony

    Hey Boony,

No worries mate but FYI the forecast on BOM and weatherzone is for 28 and 26 degrees, and its always a couple of degrees cooler in the forest as we are riding through alot of rainforest area. There is a low chance of rain on the Sunday so hopefully that should equal some cloud cover at the least. I generally dont trust the forecast until a couple of days out anyway.

If we do end up with hot days we will look at moving the leave time forward to 7 AM maybe.

Installed the tubliss system in the rear of the 300 last night, still holding air this morning :woohoo: :woohoo:

Will do the front Monday maybe. No more pinch flats.

nice bike mate :) Looks similar to one I saw yesterday

LOL, nothing like that new bike buzz wigster, your gonna love it Im sure. Properly sorted suspension is gods gift to bike riders (and S bends :)

Mine has some racetech stuff through it but is probably a bit stiff for my taste, I think Nick has done one or two of these so should be sweet. See if you can keep your nose clean on this one eh ?

    Welcome to the forum Davo,

Keep an eye out for the nav rides and there are a couple of great rides organized through the year for the little bike that are worth travelling for :) .

    Cheers

This app has another cool feature which is share location.

wherever you are, hit share location and it will send your GPS co-ordinates to anyone via text message, facebook etc. etc etc

The person on the recieving end can just paste those co-ordinates into the same app, drop a waypoint and head in your direction. Very cool little feature if you have phone reception.

    Hey Mr Squiggle,

Could you put me down plus 1 please. I know that area pretty well, one of my favourites.

Be good to catch up with you blokes after Nundle last year.

    Cheers

    Papa

Hey Papa, Ill add you to the list now and welcome!

I remember chatting with you guys at nundle, I knew there was some barrington locals hiding away somewhere, thought maybe you enjoyed mounting bollocks so much you stayed ;)
