No problems with the fuel murph, have a mate at main creek who has agreed to do a fuel drop for us 3 hours in on day 2.
Not sure on Fridays bike agenda, if I get everything setup on Thursday afternoon then Ill be on the bike for a bit in the morning, see how I go. FYI Boyto and I look like heading up on Sunday this weekend or next.
Nice bike, you should definately install some custom scratches and dents though
Ollie wrote:Nice Vid SquiggleI can see a lot of effort has gone into preparing this ride to ensure it is a success!! Charley from Barrington Trail Tours also uses and maintains those trails and they also make up a large part of the “Forest 300” a classic enduro that has a long history and regarded by many as the best Enduro in Australia. All it needs is a couple of good down pours of rain to wash away the dust and it will be Primo.
Boony knows how good this ride is so all you Tamwegians should step up to the plate and have a crack.
sorry I wont be able to make it I will be out in the middle of the Pacific ocean somewhere.Ollie
Hey Ollie,
Calling it work is a stretch, more pre-riding on the way to get these loops really dialled in and putting a couple of more hills in day 1 :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Hey Murph,
Welcome, you and tim feel free to take the long way across the creeks
Sunday is the bigger day so hopefully you can do both.
Spoke with Jonsa today and between us we will be bringing about 200 litres of drinking water and I have been drinking from the creeks for years . I will also organize a big arse BBQ for some group cooking. We will be heading up on Thursday night to stake our claim and make sure there is plenty of room for everyone to roll out a swag and plenty of firewood on hand.
Riders should as a minimum bring bike, fuel, esky full of grog and whatever you want to cook on the BBQ.
Now its down to the weather

The funny thing is that we were trying to pronounce your name while talking on the phone in the car with bluetooth on through the speakers with the Minister (Mrs) in the car and it was a bit all Fuched UP!!
So we came up with SOLDIER   Easier so we don’t make mistakes eh!
TB and I will stick with SOLDIER
Cheers, Left
Compromise maybe, GI-Fuch , or maybe privateFuch, you could also go with MajorFuch
Just trying to help

No worries boze, welcome aboard.
Ill put some directions on the first post, I also made a call and have arranged for a mate to meet us 3 hours into day 2 with fuel if its needed.

Hey Fuchsy, (Top name BTW)
no mate, weekend of the 1st and 2nd, the BMW rally is up there on the following weekend and the camping area will likely get full.
Sorry.
Yup, nothing wrong with Fuchsy …… tell em to blow it out there …Ahem..
pete the wulf wrote:Its near Dungog Fuchsy.Top work Squiggle, i love it up there.
That last trail i know as “research” and its a cracker and being one way it means you can have some fun but it also doesn’t get chopped up in places.
So many good trails up there, if anyone wants top quality riding then get on this ride you won’t be disappointed…………..unless you don’t like hills   :laugh:PTW
Hills are fun
There is nothing really knarly and all the tricky hills can by bypassed.
Your right Pete that last trail is simply awesome, the camera went flat and there is still quite a bit of riding after that but its a great track. Its so scenic I just cruised through, wanted to soak up all that nature karma
A short Vid from the Day 2 pre-run with Jonsa and myself.

Oldfatbeerman wrote:That clashes with the Adv ride up at Wauchope then , I can’t do that because of work , so I miss bothBugger Al,
If it makes you feel any better I will be up there quite a bit perfecting that loop, have a few more hills and trails that need to be worked into it so keep an eye out and come up for some exploring next time. Have you got another bike in the shed for these rides or do you just take the WR ?
Hey Wigster,
My Tenere is up for sale mate, not official yet but its gotta go as the “Big Trip” is cancelled I cant really justify leaving all the $$ tied up in the shed.
Just about every extra you can buy and already has the single exhaust, braided brake lines, DNA Air Filter Kit, Bling, guards, bars et etc blah
Give me a call if your interested.
axel wrote:I read it again and saw the Feb bit halfway through… no worries. 1st and 2nd of February it is.
Any idea on numbers yet?
Looks like another 5hr drive for us but no big deal, we have visited Murph a few times already for a ride. The drive home is the tough part.5 or 6 at this stage axel, we will see if there is any more keen over the next few days. Ill start a list of riders on the first post I suppose.
Hopefully you should be sore enough on Sunday that your happy to sit on your arse in the car for a few hours
axel wrote:Was wondering about this February ride without a date. So it’s first weekend then. There will be at least 2 from here making the drive. 130km is a stretch for many. Cheers.Nice to have you on board Axel, will post the pre-run vid from day 2 a little later one. Hopefully the long drive will be worth it, good riding and should be a fun sat night
The starting post did say first weekend of feb
