More wet red clay, might need to change the front after all
Are you riding your wife’s bike or your son’s Mr Squiggle
     :silly:
Thats a good question james, smart arse
I have spent a bit of time on both bikes over the last couple of weeks, some dirt tracks to see how the tenere stacks up and some time on the tar as well and …….. you’ll have to wait and see

Id say it depends on if the farmer is still holding the shears, I reckon he might be a melbourne cup chance
andy29 wrote:Will there be a rider limit on this ride squiggle ????Sounds like a plan for Feb
Dont think so andy, plenty of room and time to get riders through.
I know the BMW rally is up there on the 8th of Feb so we will avoid that weekend as it gets pretty packed. Otherwise we should be fine.
Tfos1 wrote:Sorry, Greg, but I’ll have to miss this one, too.I’m looking forward to your rides in 2014 and will be there whenever I can.
Cheers!

Hate it when life gets in the way of having fun Tfos, and I can see plindz doing his Montgomery Burnes impression about now as he scopes out his chances of a bed.. “Yeeessss, excellent” ..
hope you were camping :silly:

Sounds like we might have a few over xmas for the teaser rides. Should be good fun with a bit of exploring and linking some new loops together.
plindz wrote:Hey SquiggleThey’re droppin’ like flies – a couple more and I might score a room in the pub and won’t have to suffer the indignity of tenting it.
Febs is out due to work commitments- leaves a lean but dedicated Newie contingent.
What’s the plan for the friday ride to Lithgow??
Linz
   No way Plindz, cmon mate its adventure riding. If you bail into the pub we might have to spike the WR while your sleeping
Was on a ride once and a kawasaki was mysteriously found the next morning in a tree 👿 👿
adam wrote:Mr Squiggle,I’ll check my social calendar for the Xmas New Year period and see if I can squeeze a day in

Wigster wrote:I’m out of this ride.Gutted, but at the moment I’ve got Carpal tunnel so bad in my right arm particularly, I can barely ride to work at the moment, let alone do two days of a nav ride.
I was hoping it would come good but with a week and a bit to go I’m making an early call so someone else can jump in.
Will have it sorted for the next ride though, even if it means amputation.
Wigster
Thats no good at all wigster, you were having issues on the St Albans ride as well if I recall correctly. Sorry you will miss out.
While your out of action might be a good opportunity to do the forks
FYI, I just fitted a barrett exhaust to mine, mainly to shave wieght, and had the fuel injection remapped by triumph ….. WOW, great improvement :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: . Really smooth strong punchy bottom an mid range. Recommend the barretts, pipe looks great. 👿

G Mac wrote:Hello Mr Squiggle,
I keen for a re visit up to the Barringtons. If you could include me in the numbers that would suit me fine. Did some 4 wheel driving up there on the southern side good fun just soft and wet. Looking forward to a revisit on the two wheeler and a have another excuse to go camping..Cheers G Mac 😆
No worries G, should be a good weekend and its a top spot for camping. We have a secret stash of deadfall and forty minutes with a chainsaw on Friday afternoon and Ill make sure we have a cracking fire for saturday night. Looking forward to it already. Merlyn is booked in also.
axel wrote:I’ve never rode that area before and have been wanting to for ages. Will keep an eye out for post Xmas rides there then. Cheers. There are some pretty smick trails up that way axel and its been ridden for so long there are trails to suit everyone I think.
Its a pretty cool backyard and not as rough as the wattagans although some of the 4WD access trails are getting pretty bad around jeruselum falls. We avoid them for the most part except for a very short section between the singles.

Welcome Dave,
Plenty of 650 pilots on the forum so I am sure you will find the info your looking for. Plenty of rides being organized regularly also. The Nav rides that trailboss puts on are fantastic fun, hopefully you can get yourself to one next year.
We are doing the flinders in April next year and looking forward to it quite a bit…. understatement :woohoo: :woohoo:
