We are up there all over the xmas break with the bikes but it makes a good weekend in the summer as well.If its later in the year and you want to ride all day you can link up storky’s bulahdelah tracks with our barrington loops. start at bulahdelah and camp at frying pan and then do the reverse back the next day. Take some pre-running to put it together but went through there a few years ago from stroud so if that sounds good perhaps storky and few other can help with some runs for a june ride.
Hey murph, we are up in the wattagans in the morning, georges track, slippery rock and ricks tracks, might see you out there if the back comes good.
we done it the other way left barrington worked our way over stratford servo for a bbq lunch and refuel down through craven then myall state forest out through gilberts trail and into buladelah stay overnight at motel and the pub and reverse the next day awsome ride
Thats a great idea, we just need secure parking in the barringtons. Could talk to charlie and see if he can accomodate a few cars and trailers for the big ride.
we left our cars up in his front paddock
We could look after charlie and book his cabins, he does an AWESOME steak and merlyn has a score the settle with the barringtons if we end up at charlies. He does alot of work up that way so I reckon start at bulahdelah and everyone can camp in the cabins and put some $$$ in a biker friendly pocket

Where we we be heading for in the barringtons Squiggle?
Third time replying to this one snowy, computer problems
For summer riding I reckon you cant beat this. We have two loops out of frying pan, the first section is the same on both but after that they vary. Both are around three to four hours.
Nate and I were up there a few weeks ago trying to find some more singles we could loop in so we could post a ride on old bulls
Found a couple, including a wicked little single with two downhill kicks that you basically have to ride down on your front wheel because the back doesnt stay down. If we get a cool day we may be able to try these out because they will have you riding in the heat. Also have two hill climbs that are AWESOME, nate raged last time because he flipped his Kato ….
Cold cans and a camp chair setup in the creek for the reminder of the day. Would not be dead for quids
Nav ride on the 30th, Xmas at frying pan anyway and we are doing the flinders in april and the birthday ride in may …… phew
We will squeeze this in as well eh

A great day from cameron park would be george booth drive onto richmondvale road into Mulbring.
Turn onto sandy creek road, enjoy the bends and shade and then onto dirt with a left turn onto wattagans forest road. Pop out at letter A and head to Kulnura for a splash of fuel and a burger.
From there you can head to St Albans pub via the dirt and then overnight at the resort at wisemans ferry (cheap and nice in the off season) . Dinner at the historic pub.
OR
If you dont want to stay overnight, head down bumble hill into yarramolong and play on some more lovely tar roads, back via cooranbong and home.
One section of dirt and some nice tar on the day trip and two dirt sections on the overnighter. All of it nice and easy. The great thing for me on these bikes is the combination of offroad and onroad riding.
Have fun whatever you decide. This whole route can be plotted on google maps. no probs.

TB if you find yourself with the time over the weekend I would love to see what you come up with.
Seems I have a lot of catching up to do on the ADV bikes with all the tracks you blokes have done. Feel like a noob when you start swapping route notes like that
Dont know that its going to take off but, supercross version of drag racing? maybe

I am looking to plan my first “Adventure” ride for the ten 660 & a mate on his Sertao 650. We are both capable enduro riders but dont want to bite off more than we can chew on our first adventure ride. We are looking at doing maybe 3 or 4 days away between Xmas & New years leaving on boxing day.
Can anyone give me some ideas on some destinations & routes?
Cheers,
SNEAKYGrip & Rip.
