Hey Sneaky,
Welcome on board, good to see another local join up. We ride most weekends and would be happy have you along on any rides we do. Grade 3 and 4 mostly. Hopefully see you on the trails.
Cheers
Squigglebump!
New chain fitted on the weekend and I serviced and replaced the seal on the left fork 2 weekends ago, IE 2 rides ago. Also new rear bearing installed and new rear tire.
New bike should be good for next week so this bike and the 250 will both go on gumtree etc as well. PM if your interested.
So Graham Jarvis will now be riding for Husqvarna
Looks like they have thrown out the old models in favour of the Husuberg model, still got the closed cartridge forks, plastic subframe and the KTM 2 smoker motor at least. Looks like they ditched the 4 stroke husqvarna motor as well.
Shame they didnt change the plastics, never really been a fan of the berg axe head tank plastics. Good news for berg owners, not so great for husqy owners who just took a hit to resale value on the discontinued models.
Keen to see if they revised the pricing to help smooth the change
hey TB,
Stick me down for this one too please. I think Merlyn is keen also. Should be fun.
cheers

I got hold of Lefty and Crash for a spin. Sadly Crash’s driver rang in sick at the last minute so he was out, Lefty and I left after work. On the way out we stopped for a cuppa with GB, a look at his bikes and a chat about the ISDE currently underway. He asked as we got ready to leave had I looked at the weather report for last night and today? No should I was my thought, when he said they had forecast snow to 1200m  I thought yeah I should have :huh:So we continued to my sisters place in Orange. A few ciders and a feed, sat in front of the fire and thawed out.
This morning the weather has turned feral, it is freezing. About 5 c, wind chill factor of bugger knows but it’s cold and raining :dry:At the minute we waiting the weather out for another hour eating pancakes. Weather should blow over everyone reckons
Will head up Mt Canobolas when we get mobile should be snow up there :pinch:

With one exception. The loop is meant to go up Amazon, not down.
Still dusty over there? Not so here.
Cheers
MurphLOL, Down is FINE murph, bloody good hill, not sure about getting up that sucker but will give it a try at some point I’m sure.
Yeah Spud thats a bit of a challenge. I reckon the best moments are the ones that make you laugh so…
The “Frieght Train Mother F&%%$*) ” moment with the young bloke on the birthday ride definately rates, even better to get it on video. The crowning of the king and his awesome new helmet was also excellent.
Watching Brownie Hug Skyrider for lugging his luggage across the forest for him on the last Nav ride was also bloody funny.
Dude and I getting crashed into at an intersection today by an exuberant 2 stroke pilot who missed the turn was pretty memorable and got a chuckle.
Have done some fantastic rides this year and thinking back nearly all of them have been old bulls rides so a big thumbs up to the old bulls community for a top year of riding so far. Keep it coming.
Thanks Dude for leading, it was a great day and we had a ball. Covered singles at buttuba, awaba, cooranbong, freemans and sugarloaf. Bit of dust around but thats ok, the trails that were clean were great :cheer: :cheer:
Being a small group didnt get much opportunity to get the camera out and the few pics I did snap were blurry … bugger..
Dude Cam

Quote:The power delivery is different and not as lively as the 2T but seems plenty once I found a sweet spotI wondered about that when you posted. I suppose your going for smooth and fast as opposed to those of us who just like to get our jollies by opening up the tap. I kinda miss the red spring
Problem is you were already smooth and fast Mal, bastard
Will be interested to hear your thoughts once you get it dialled in.
Good luck with the new toy Mal, no more mixing fuel
Hey Dude, looking at riding this weekend with the boy and a mate who just bought a new 300 EXC. Happy to make it an Old bulls ride if you like
