TB
He should be keen, he may have forgotten what his bike looks like but Im sure he remembers how to ride
Trailboss wrote:boulder wrote:As always looks like you found some nice tracks there TB! Did I see PTW on a white Tenere?? :huh:Yeah PTW was mounted on a white Tenere, not mine a loaner as such
Used for pre running. We had a ball and they are some great tracks, a mixture of new, old (from years ago), recently used but now in other directions.
I rode the RideADV Tiger for the day, a bit of suspension development after the full Teknikās treatment and a massive 30L safari tank. Good timesTB
Thats a big day TB, great vid and some great country there. That little bit of extra hp is always a good thing
, looks like you had a ball. I spent all day sunday on 2 strokes with the boy while the triumph is in getting the 20K service.

Trailboss wrote:oldgirl wrote:Hi Guys,A friend on mine has a Buell Ulysses 1100 and wants to start doing some adventure riding (Buell promotes it as an adventure bike??). We took it to clarance on saturday and did the road from the zig zag railway to the glow worm caves. It was his first time on dirt EVER! so I didn’t take him on any fire trails. I had a ride of it and holy crap…… it is heavy, and bloody quick. I’m not game to take it on the road I’m too much of an idiot lol. Got it sideways around a corner and scared the living crap out of myself   :pinch:
Do you think it would handle a nav run?
He can ride pretty well, but I don’t want to throw him into a nav run if the bike is too heavy or not right for it.Any thoughts? He doesn’t have knobbys on it at all just intermediate road tyres.
No no no way in hell will that go where Pete and I have pre run today, not a hope
Sorry
TB
If he insists I would be happy to sit behind him with the helmet cam running  I think clearance and suspension travel would be a big problem.

Cant really tell too much what happened from the vid but basically it was the erosion mound before the last one that caused the problem. Just got too much air and spooked myself. Hit the last one trying to slow down instead of setting myself up for the lip. …… moral of the story is slow down :blink:Great pics and post mate
Great vids Andy 1st 1 the single looked choice.. :cheer:
Mr Squiggle I cant help myself but u broke a law of erosion mounds and thats
‘No matter the speed u hit it You ‘Must’ accelerate just before the lip”
Yup

(if were talking about the same thing)September 3, 2013 at 10:16 am in reply to: Nundle – An attempt to Mount Bollocks ride report #249253Boze wrote:[Awesome Boze, that was a really bad line over those logsexcellent stuff
Yeh I recon it was too. You 300 riders are all the same
Like you Duey came out unphased and ready for the next one.

  I gave it a go but my mojo was GONE, probably because I couldnt see properly (still dunno why) the bars were badly bent, the accelerator was sticking and the front brake didnt work properly.
I proceeded to ride at a very sedate pace for the what little remained of the ride. Still enjoyed the rest of it but nearly rode past the cornermen on a couple of occasions and just took it real easy.
Cant wait for the weekend though, a couple of hours in the shed and the 300 is good to go again, damn I love that bike, it just never lets me down. Not once in over 6000ks now.
