+1 and then some, big thanks to all the blokes who put the time in to make this weekend happen. First time to nundle and hopefully not the last, the boys organized a great weekend even though half the locals were out due to injury.

Thanks to Snowy and Boony for donating the couch and also to the blokes that helped pick up my crashed arse late saturday afternoon after my freestyle session.

My rear brake on the Crf is a bugger to bleed too murph , I bled it , back bled it with a syringe and nothing. I thought it must be seal or something too !!

I took it to my mechanic and he took off the caliper held it lower than the master cylinder then bled as normal. The air gets trapped in the banjo bolt on top of the cylinder and as its a similar height to the caliper bleed nipple the air stays their.

This was my issue might be yours too mate ?

    Nick

Same issue here Murph with bleeding the rear on the roadbike, trying to get air out of them while the brake liine is running level can be a real bitch, try nicks suggestion as its what I have done in the past the bleed stubborn brakes :)

That pipe would be a little harder to ding. :woohoo:
    Do they make a 300??? ;)
We just had Tims pipe off his 200 and man, what a mess. ;)
    Cheers
    Murph

Ive had a nice new gnarly pipe hanging in the rafters for while now, next big ding will probably see it go on :)

Looking at tims ride photos I reckon a new hyde pipe guard would be the go murph, or maybe some sliders off the nissan patrol forum for those rocks he thinks are tracks. My son lost the mounting hardware for mine, pre that not a single ding

Still a little heavy though at 92.5kg but would still love one to play ride on.

Thats how it should have come out standard. Center of gravity on that model will be heaps better, nice and low :)

That’s brilliant Mr Squiggle. Thanks for taking the time to do the vid. I’ll be getting it done tomorrow.

Are you going to do the main fuse mod?

    Wigster

I thought about it Wigster but so far have simply opted to pack a couple of spare fuses, I might see how it goes, once you know about the problem its pretty easy to manage, dont wash the underseat area unless the drain hole is working. Thinking about it, its probably alot simpler to just drill an extra drain hole in the bottom of battery box, if the fuse doesnt get drenched its unlikey to ever need replacing.

Good thinking Mr Squiggle. Will do the same. I was a bit concerned about warranty issues too. You know what dealers are like “My swingarm has broken in half”. ” Ah, that’s because you’ve done the main fuse mod, sorry no warranty claim for you”.

    Wigster

While your at it wigster I recommend doing something to help the centrestand spring, had heard of them letting go and mine did the same on the last ride (Hence all the red rope in the video, thanks to the old bull who packed that, not sure who it was)

No good landing on the center stand coming off a jump or sharp crest at speed

I am going to replace the spring and make up a rubber tie system to solve this issue so I dont end up on my arse, ill let you know what I come up with. Its either that or just dump the damn thing, if only it didnt make servicing so easy :)

While we are on the topic of sand. Is the sand at the beach any different to ride than say out at Big Red?
Does the desert sand have the same consistency? It may be a dumb question but I have never really ridden the red sand and was just wondering?

Thats what makes sand so crappy, you dont know until you give it a go what your in for. Good if you like suprises :silly:

Check out 2:55 or watch whole thing, awesome vid.
