hey hey, ive got some feelings you know! Glad merlyn made the ride though, his 990 doesnt have enough scratches on it yet
Hey TB,
If you can squeeze me onto the reserve bench I would love to come along on the Trumpy.
I can help you out on that one murph,
They are Loud, few years of riding under my belt and after fitting these exhausts I am now in the habbit of wearing earplugs (which I now do on all the bikes because the music is better
.
They have an aggressive and sharp sound as opposed to the larger mufflers out there, the tone is not a deep rumble but rather a snappy bark. Great for navigating through traffic and get lots of positive comments. Guys at KTM Newcastle reckon they look awesome.
If thats what youre after they are great, terrific quality and light wieght. The DB killers do nothing. I love the look of them but would go for a slightly quieter pipe next time.
Here is a pic of how they look on my 990R.

Look forward to it Eagle, keen to get bike fitness back after the boys I was riding with slowly fell away for various reasons. Thought I would make it to Murphs ride today but first time ever I have been caught out with no 2 stroke oil…. bugger
Trailboss wrote:Wow! Nice intro MS as mentioned you have all the toys good job. They say he who dies with the most toys wins don’t they? Having spent sometime on a tiger recently as part of a project I know what your saying about the forks. Nick from Tekniks did the forks for it ( he is a site supporter means discount for you ) made a huge difference on woo boys and diving under brakes.
Question your extremely talented wife Mrs S has she painted helmets before? There are paints available for helmets and need a helmet done for a special project.Again welcome hopefully catch you on a ride soon mate

Hey TB, Im sure alison would be happy to do a helmet for you at a great price, she has done a graffiti helmet for a local racer and darksiders themed dirtbike helmet as well. Both came up great, although the personalized helmet for Stuart Moylan was my favourite.
You can buy most helmets in plain white or plain black ready for artwork direct from the shop and alison has a bucket load of different paint types but talk to her on that.
Thanks for the positive comments, she thought that was great but did hit me when she read that she was going to be refered to as Mrs Squiggle on the forum. If you email her please address it to Mrs Squiggle for me.
And there are musos here too …. this forum keeps getting better.
A support vehicle, motorcycles, some guitars, wild turkey and a big fire …. now thats a weekend, always happy to donate a few drunken anthems to the collective given the opportunity
, Ill let Mrs Squiggle know, she is always chuffed to hear feedback
Cheers, will do
excellent, thx
