No worries Murph, we will have a good spin this weekend, shame about the dust that’s all.
Speaking of which, 20C at 9:45am with a top of 35C today. Morning ride there should be nice.Yup you picked it, Murph took us up there on the westside ride a few weeks back and it got me reminiscing about the top day out with the Old Man trying to get up it.
Never thought I would try and ride a dirt bike up there at the time but goes to show you never know whats around the corner
Hopefully we can liven up the big fella at barringtons with some good riding and a camp out with some more like minded crazy fools.
We might even be able to take him and tim out to the bottom of terrible billy, I have it on good authority that the trail is no longer ridable by god fearing men of common sense and good judgement.
edit * we thought we had terrible billy in the loop but alas we were mistaken, its a great hill but not the ascention to heaven of legend. There is also another monster hill allegedly called the lada neva trail.
Murph and an ADV bike TB, are you sure you really wanna see that
Tassy sounds good LC ya lucky bastard, enjoy the rocks from what I hear and try not to fall into the ocean. A few of the boys from work did it a few years ago and had a very ….. memorable trip
So we had to try again a few weeks later, this time no winching
Thats my old man in the eighty series.

At least when you have been defeated its in air conditioned comfort with a subwoofer and a cold beer
Hey murph, cheer up mate the premo riding will be back soon enough.
In the meantime we could do a trip up queensland date track in the forbys, dug these out of my photo archive for you. Youll get your Patrol up there no worries. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Hey Wigster,
Sounds like TB has this sorted but for the record when your looking for unusual tools like that, forget the franchise shops and try your local industrial estate. They will generally have a small tool shop hidden away to support the local fabricators and engineering firms.
These guys generally know their shit or they dont stay around long and have all sorts of stuff in stock that your pimple face, pre-pubescent bunnings worker didnt know existed.
I got mine from Tomago Industrial Supplies….. Doesnt help but I thought it make you feel better knowing that at least someone has em in stock
   FYI the yamaha and triumph are different sizes so you better take TB 2Xciders just to be safe

I have no doubt, have spent some time up there in winter when the kids were little, no dirt bike back then though.
I think the August ride was unseasonably warm for that time of year, worked out well, I hate the cold  . Will definately be attending this year if the boys get it organized though coz its a great weekend.
