Must be a yearly occasion in Wauchope Mick, i’ve never seen your bike clean.

    I use bike shine.

it puts a semi silicone cover on the plastics. When you ride next time the dirt, although sticks to the silicone, when it comes time to wash it, the dirt mostly slides right off. When i wash my bike i dry it off then spray all the plastics and leave it overnight then give it a wipe off next time i’m in the shed.

Makes the plastics look awesome when you are selling a bike as well, hides some of the smaller scrapes and scratches.

Note: Never, ever, even think about, not ever, not in a billion years should you put it anywhere near your seat. If you do the next time you ride you’ll be doing accidental supermans and one handed seat grabs all day just trying to stay on :pinch:. This will also result in a million more scratches on your beloved bike. (i’ve been there and it’s not pretty!):woohoo:

I do struggle with getting a good finish on my bashplate and exaust though…any suggestions there?

    Great idea.

Is a $20 (or some amount)annual fee to keep your name/rego on the site worth thinking about? This also keeps users current and not collecting info from heaps of people no longer using the site? Also will help with the admin fees.

    Aaron,

count me in for attending i’ll be up on Friday night, will also be bringing my chaperone to protect me from you big scary belligen blokes (and to lift the bike off me on those hills). He’s on a KTM400. We will be swagging it atm but will run the whole accomodation thing past him and get his preference.

    looking forward to it

Big thanks to Bill for the day. First go on a MotoX track was interesting and getting showed up by 10 year olds on 85’s is obviously something my ego will have to come to terms with LOL

Thanks Riderx and Mick for a great ride! Had a blast and couldn’t get over how perfect a day it was for riding after the dodgy rain on Friday. Made the trails nice and tacky. Thanks for the help and a great day. Best fun you can have with your clothes on! You won’t get rid of me now.
