Sorry to see the 1600 beat up.
Oh, damn I should of asked if there were any injuries first.
Hope all involved in the incident are OK

I have a really good mate who I have not seen in many years.
He bought a very sick :woohoo: 👿 👿 1600 Datto from another great mate, whom I have not seen for a couple of years. ;)

Anyway this litle 4 cylinder kept up with my 350 chevy HZ.
And if I can recall rightly (it was a very long time ago) did do the small block chevy on the odd run.
But when it come to the corners ie: Bell line and Rhylistine gorge-spelling- he had me in that damn little 4 cylinder

Unfortunately, another mate ended the run of that little 1600
Flipped her, late coming home from Lithgow in the good old days. :pinch: :(
Lucky they had a mate (me) with a 350 chevy to tow the wreck home. ;) :( B)

Seems as though I am losing the plot
    Too many Turkeys

Aha, you’ve got to be kidding. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

This might be an unreasonable request, but can we have the riders lists for each ride group posted on the front page??
I know that might be asking a bit much but it would be good to catch up with some peoples who we don’t see very often out on the trails. B)

I find it hard to grade certain hills as a hill I might struggle on could be relatively easy for someone else.
I guess it is not an exact science.

    Hey Hesso
I’m hopless at grading, i call it 4ft when other surfers are calling 6ft.
I would class the concrete hill 3/4
Rocky spur, grade 4+ if you ride straight up the steps at the top
The first section of Bar hill 3/4
Second section 4+ but not quite a 5
And the hill you missed out on was Wave Rock which would be a 4 if you take the left single before the cliff/serious steps.
Tim had five attempts at that section and didn’t get it, so I would put that at 5+
We are all different and to me a grade 5 is something that can’t be done without stopping/changing direction/lifting the bike over obsticles. I guess its a hill that I would really struggle on. 👿
On saying that it is possible for me to struggle on a grade 4 hill.
Amazon on our “three hills ride” is a classic grade 5 hill. B)
Hope to catch up again soon, mate
    Cheers

I was always going to make some special jigs with one end having a car v/v
Seeya on our next ride and we can do it all again. 👿 :woohoo:
