Have ridden wih Dude for a number of years and found his Husky 510 to be both strong and reliable. Its been a great bike for him and should be for anyone interested in picking up a cheap big bore machine.

Cheers
Murph the surfP.S. That will cost you a Turkey, Dude.
Hey Eags
Wasn’t us at the Gap.
Adam, your right. I was starting to feel a bit knocked around when you saw us.
As embarassing as it is I must confess I had a DNF beside my name at the end of the day.
Having riden most of the singles and gnarly hills before I have no excuse for me not finishing the ride.
I probably fell victom to dehydration as I had some of the worst leg cramps I have ever had, bad enough to pull the pin at the last track. This was a big call knowing the amount of heckling I would have to endure. (“Murph does not finish Last Man Standing”   )
On a positive note, Tim made it through the entire ride.
It was a good event and they were a great bunch to ride with.
Cheers
MurphHappy Birthday Aaron, ya puppy.
Just about to crack open a bottle Turkey, so I’ll have a drink for ya mate
Have a good one
Cheers
MurphI’m getting keen too Mal
Hoping on some North coast barrels before the ride Saturday mornin.
Just hope I don’t have to fix any issues after DBW’s last man standing $20 challenge ride this weekend
Fitted a new S12 hoop to the front and will fit a new IRC 140 to the rear after this weekend ready for Coffs
Bring it on. :woohoo:
Cheers
MurphHey Squizzy
I bought my first KTM in 2003 mainly because it was something different (not many out there at that time)
Now they are like a rash, everyone owns one.
On our rides there is always more Kato’s than any other brand
That must say something.
Just sold my 07 525 with almost 16000kms on the clock
No rebuild, just very keen maintainance
Have my third Kato now
Its a 500 and I’m still getting the suspension set but I’m happy with it so far
Cheers
Murph the surfGood onya Dusty
Great to hear that you are back, mate
6 months went by quick, probably not so quick for you though.
Will definetly see you out there some day soon, although summer is on us.
Cheers matey
MurphHey King STM
I will be there for Friday, Saturday and maybe Sunday
I can also vouche for Als 450
Cheers mate
Murph
P.S. would like very much for me and Als 450 to be in with Mal5.1, haven’t seen him in almost a year.
But what ever happens, happens.I must also thank Lotsa
He showed me a different way to change a flat, not sure if its quicker though.

Yes I got a front pinch flat straight after lunch at the Berry Patch.
Another thanks to Sam
He had a spare front tube as mine was gone with the Dude.
Dude carrys the front and I carry the rear tube. Usually works except when we get split up.
Thanks to all for organising the weekend and even though its not my sort of riding I had a ball.
Cheers
MurphGreat weekend
Some nice singles, hills and river crossings
Had a great time Saturday night (I think).
I came off on one little hill which is was kinda embarrassing.
Binned it a bit harder also on the Sunday ride but I’m gonna put it down to being a little dusty from the night before. :woohoo:
I managed to get photos of most, sorry to those who I missed

If you ever want to drift down this way, I have a series of about 11 murphsberg trails to take you on, went out on sunday, rode from 9.00 till 4.45 and did 66km and that was only 3 tracks – they are right up your alley.hatto
Will definetely be down your way sometime, Hatto
