    Not sure what model bike you are talking about
    Just assumed it was an 03 or later Kato (don’t know why) :blush:
    What ever bike it is I still don’t think it will be an issue, at least it hasn’t been in the past ;)

    I wouldn’t worry about it either
    So long as the marks have not deformed the inner walls than all should be OK
    By the way XY, they are 48mm not 43mm as Teknik says

    Only travelled 65kms but it was pretty hard going at times
    I’d never done this loop from the Pines and was worried about fuel but now I know we can fit some more hills and singles in. :woohoo:

    I thought we might of had a few takers when I changed it to a Basin Run, and down graded it
    If we don’t get any riders tonight, Tim and I will probably head back to the southend and do some more exploring
    See what happens

    Ride destination changed
    Because of the rain we will be doing a Basin Run instead of the Southend starting from the Pines
    Grade 3-4
    Same starting time

    On the 4th flush with new oil all is good.
    Glad it only takes 700ml
    The oil came out clean not milky :woohoo:
    Now he’s keen for the weekend :woohoo: :woohoo:

    Personally I’d go the 530 but that is because I have owned two 525’s
    The only down side with the extra torque is that it can be taxing after a few hours in tight singles. I love them but would now consider the 570 Berg also. Still not sold on the efi yet.

    New seal and bearing fitted to water pump and am now in the drawn out process of flushing contaminated oil from gearbox. Replaced oil three times and still milky in colour.
    Radiator seems to be holding coolant so all is good

    Would be good to catch up. Might see if I can get the Saturday ride in at this stage.
    I think Mal only has the Saturday so we could maybe organise cars at each end of the ride.

    Just drove through Capertee two days ago, nice looking place.
