I know I have to start working at keeping fit nowadays (age 46)
Never had to in the past is all
Just getting harder to get motivated
The last few months the surf has been shit so I haven’t been getting my usual excercise of paddling for hours on end:(

Ollie, Haven’t ridden Tunks or Hitchy’s for some time (many months) Almost headed that way last Saturday but had reports of too much rain through the week so we just rode local again

Saturday’s ride was great on my ring gear
Bought a new pair of pushbike pants and applied a liberal dose of 3B before the ride. Even though we didn’t do quite as many singles as Monday, we still covered a lot of ground and it was bloody hot. Happy to let ya’ll know that my butt was rash free

I am also from the Newcastle area
Had just an incident where my kid was legal (bike regoed and licenced) but had a head on with a dude that was not??!! Sucks as Tim (my son) was put on crutches for three months with a smashed knee cap. The young fella who crashed into him gets off scott free????? We were left to pick up the pieces, almost litterally :angry: :angry:
Just be aware of clowns out there. Sure they think its all cool??

Just did a ride Monday and even though it was not raining, I came home sweating like a pig.

Do they keep working 5 minutes into a ride (when everything gets sweaty)??

Do they stick around all day??
Or do they have to be reaplied when the going gets tough. And I mean Tough AHA
I probably sweat more than anybody on a ride. Gotta let the young fella’s step in more often and help drag bikes up cliffs
