Old man is it??
I love showing you young kids the right path to take through life :woohoo:
Glad you only listened to half of what I”m talking about!!
Surely, in our age of quick fixes and drugs there is something to help with severe cramp
Some one did say once there was something available from a chemist??
I don’t do drugs anymore but if there is something out there that stops me from stopping the thing that stops me doing the things that I love. OOPS OOPSY
Lost again
This real world is starting to hurt
Cheers
Murph
Still keen on a remedy for cramping
Hey Mal
Just guessing but I would put it down to being to close to the dude ahead
Scares the hell out of naked fella’s
Cheers
Murph (not naked yet) the surfI’m not sure Justo?
But I was cramping pretty bad towards the top of the said mountain
Should we cut  some of the singles out of the first part of the ride to give more of a chance of getting more people up said mountain.
Then again said mountain is only for the insane or those who should be omitted
Be Warned
Paps I could put down a grade of 6 but its not within my nature
I call most 6ft surf sessions 4 to 5ft
I don’t like to big note myself
So I usually under call it
Back on track-Does anyone know of one thing to get rid of this monkey butt?? Unfortunately I’m getting a little long in the tooth for standing on the pegs all day, maybe I’m just getting lazzy
Next question
Is there a drug/remedy for cramping??
Even my young fella, Tim suffered from extreme cramps yesterday
Understandably it was an extreme day out but surely my kid could of done it without cramping
Like to hear any response
Cheers
Almost Turkeyed out MurphP.S.
Do ya surf at all???
Just asking because of a trip Mal5.1 and me took down your way to do some rockclimbing at Mt Kirra many moons ago.
Did some great climbs but the highlite was Windang Island offshore at 8ft +
Sorry Mal but your right, it might of been a bit too big for a learner on a boogie board
Ya lived though

Cheers
Murph the surfsiimsdita
Welcome to this crazy site
I had a brand new TT600 some time in the late 80’s
Bugger of a thing to start when it was hot
Did enjoy it though, would out pull most bikes of its era and probably do bloody good in this era
Good luck with the conversion mate
Cheers
MurphAha Mick
I’m sure you were just checking out what could of been an unknown, undiscovered native plant.
Hee, Hee, Hee
After all when I fall my surfboard, I just tell them that I had seen a giant lobby and wanted it
Cheers
MurphPete
I’d be worried if I was told someone had a special log ready for you :laugh:Well done Badbowie and mates
That stick is a sobering thought to Tim (my son) and I as we don’t wear armour
Good onya’s for puting that much saddle time in
Cheers
MurphWont be there Huskybloke
Checked my roster, working that weekend
Ya’s enjoy yourselves ya here
Cheers
Murph and TimYour right Mick, hope that it was like that before our ride
Rode the main track back down to meet Dude and Pete who were waiting very patiently
Young Justin discovered a leak from his RH radiator and thanks to Diddel (who had a tube of quick metal in his pack) we had the bike lying down and plugging the split with the epoxy.
Good job done and it was back down to and an up paced ride back to Becks Road :woohoo: Across Freemans Drive, through the quarry, under the freeway and to an intersection where we said goodbye to Diddel and Young Justin. Thanks dudes for coming along. Diddel, next time bring our guests the easy way mate

From there we travelled back under the rail line and took a different route home ending with a very steep descent into another one of Tim’s and my little singles. Sweet.
Arrived home about 5:30
Big thanks to everyone for turning up and making it a great day out :woohoo: :woohoo:
Bigger thanks to Dude who swept nearly all day. Your a legend mate
Will do it all again for those who dropped out at lunch time and anyone else who is up for an extra ordinary day out. Its amazing how far you can push these machines before you actually have to get off and push these machines
Cheers
Murph (easing the pain with Turkey as medication) the surfMost thought that the hill was over but little did they know there was stage 4,5 and 6 to go. Hee Hee Hee.
Stage 4 was mostly done without incident, well sort of??? Managed to get past the big log and on to stage 5. This proved to be a challenge as the slab was a little too wet
Diddel went first but failed and on his second attempt he tried the gutter to the right but it was also a no go.
I gave it my best shot but I too was spat off the slab and into the gutter Pulled my bike out of the gutter and tried to start on the rock slab. No matter how subtle I was with the clutch the tyre just would not bite so it was back to the bottom for another crack. My second attempt was better but not pretty. Diddel got it next go and then we watched AB have a go but he also failed and the slings came out again but man it was hard dragging a bike up a slab you could barely stand on. Tim and Justin nailed it considering the conditions

Tim and Young Justin at the escarpment
In the jungle
The slab  :ohmy:From there we hit a few more very slippery rock slabs before getting to stage 6 “the dreaded tree root steps”.
With a little help from each other we eventually made to the topHeading south along the base of the range we travelled through a lot of overgrown lantana which slowed the pace at times Did the diversion track and then on to Tims and my single which had a fresh tree down but managed to get round OK.
Then it was on Man against mountain
Most made the first stage except me Hit it with a little more conviction next attempt and nailed it.
Stage 2 saw some carnage with Young Justin coming to greif and rolling down the side of the mountain for a bit. AB had quite a few misshaps so we put a sling on the bike and helped him up.
Stage 3 “The Crux” was done first by Diddel then me. (Thanks for the help on that silly little step at the top Diddel) Next was Young Justin who managed it with some help from the crew.
Tim had a go at the harder way but it was just a little bit too wet and he ended back on the normal line. At one stage he had made it almost to the top of a step but began spinning to much so I grabbed his handle bars trying to help. Unfortunately I grabbed his kill switch and the bike cut out making him slide back down to the base of the step. He wasn’t impressed at the time but I think he see’s the funny side of it now
AB’s attempt was hard work for everybody but he did get to the top of stage 3
A very big thanks to the Dude and Pete who had walked up to help out and watch the carnage, they took the easy route to a meeting spot which took us another hour to reach

Young Justin??
Young Justin in the grandstand
Tim failing the harder way, better than I could do though
AB doing it tough
Diddel about to bring the front wheel back to earth
Slings came out again

Diddel and me dragging AB up
Tim still on the high side

Nice way to turn around, Tim. Ha Ha

Linked all the singles from there to the Gap which consisted of many test pieces including one very snotty uphill that only Tim and I did and a huge very steep downhill

Tim on the very snotty uphill
Tim stepping out
Tim offline but making it :woohoo:
Another bloody hill
AB’s second attempt
Pete
Jeffro
Diddels second attemptArrived at the Gap for a well earned burger and cold drink. Topped up fuel tanks and had a rest.
It was here we bid our farewells to Justo, Jeffro and Dan (well done Dan, including Diddel losing his way to the ride start you had a pretty big day out) The rest you fellas, well maybe next time.
Met Young Justin at the Gap and he wanted directions on how to get to the Wato’s, so I said he could follow us.
:silly:  :SOnly half the pack made it to end of Tims single so I backtracked and found our illustrious sweep, Dude helping Jeffro with a flat rear tyre Gave Jeffro my spare tube and a couple of gas cannisters and before long we were into again. After regrouping we did some open stuff to cool down

Dude and Jeffro hard at work
Inovative bike standCrossed the haul road and through the rail tunnel into a succession of great singles
Passed the Moto track and headed for K9 loop. Almost everybody made it up K9 (bad luck AB). Smart arse Tim took on the hard way and had the little 200 jumping from rock to rock

Diddel
Justo
Pete
Dude
AB, with Tim heading for the steps
AB’s better attempt -
