Dude
If your going up to Huskblokes, please drop around and pick up his fuel can
Cheers
MurphTims bike just started running like crap
We’ve owned it for a couple of years now and it has been a good reliable bike until now
Had to order the Boyesen reeds in and they cost about 100 bucks
Will keep you updated when we fit them some time next week
Cheers
MurphCheers fella’s
Will just see whats available locally and go from there
MurphThanks Mick
But I’m sure the boy will only spend what he needs to
Any need to change jetting, pretty sure I didn’t have with the 490??
Cheers
MurphCheers Dusty
Read about the Boyesen 2 stage reed.
I’m pretty sure thats what I put in my IT490 all those years ago
Hope it fixes the fault
MurphAwesome Ollie
I will chase some up :woohoo:
Cheers
MurphSorry to hear about your finger, Sneezy  Grab a bit of bike fitness and give it another go mate :woohoo: Stayed tuned for a 2 day Murphsberg.
Your welcome anytime STM, as are all the OBT’s
Good reports fella’s, nice to hear some of the goings on in the pack :woohoo:
Cheers
MurphGlad you fella’s enjoyed the day :woohoo:
Your welcome anytime
Hope Sneezy pulled up alright
Will have to get Tims carby off and give it a clean, hoping its just crap in the bowl. He was pretty dissapointed as we haven’t been for a decent ride in months
Cheers
MurphThe trip down through the Bangalow was great. Snaked our way through most of the singles and headed back out. I was suffering from extreme cramps in my legs by this stage and I must admitt I was glad we were heading for home

Said our goodbyes to Dusty at the end of Becks Rd (thanks for coming out mate) Rode through the quarry, under the freeway, through the back of Awaba, under the railway tunnel and said goodbye to Young Mick (nice to meet you and Logun)
Took the alternative route home finishing with another rocky hill and tight singles :woohoo:
Big thanks to everyone for chipping in and helping one another on the snotty hills :woohoo:
Heres a few more pics
AMAZONIAN FEVER

Scott on stage 3
Scotts 450 trying to get away from him
The WR having a little rest
Joe turning around after nearly going over the edge
Dusty having a crack

Planning the next move
Young Mick giving the CRF a little rest
Logun helping Mick kick the Honda back into life
Mick getting some help from Scott
The cliffline
The boys amongst the bangalowsCheers
MurphJoe was next to have a crack at stage 3 but he almost got spat off the edge of the hill. His battery then died and he pulled the pin and decided to meet us at a gathering point. Dusty had the 300 cracking and was trying to launch it up the steps :woohoo: No cigar though, as he also needed assistance. Young Mick gave it a crack too but came off about half way up the section, then needed some help on the steps
Nice and cruizy for a while but still pretty steep. Stopped at the cliff line for a pic and then into the rainforest stage 4. This was wet and very slippery and we all helped each other up beside the huge log. Stage 5 “the slab” was dry and caused no hassle for any of us :woohoo: Still riding up we climbed a few wet and very slippery rocks to stage 6 (wet tree root steps)where nearly everybody nailed it but me
It was a great relief to hit the main track at the top and we cruized back down it to meet up with Joe.Hey Roy
Seems like I’m talking to myself
It was sort of cool that we have missed all the rain
Even though the open sections were a bit dusty, the most was spot on.
And the highlight hill/mountain climb of our ride was climbable :woohoo:
Cheers
Murph
P.S. Might finish the report later but more than likely another day as more than half the turkey is gone
:ohmy:Two more great singles greeted us before a nasty up hill and then another two singles that took us along the top of an escarpment and back down the west side of the Gap. Up one last little rise and we fueled up bikes and ourselves
Thankyou Brunkerville Gap for some of the best burgers :woohoo:
Took on two young riders, looking for a way to the Wato’s. G-day Logan and Mick :woohoo:
Sorry we didn’t take the direct route to the Wato’s, but we were out to enjoy ourselves, taking all of the snotty little singles on the way. Including Tim and my little pearler. Thanks for the apraisal on that little track dudes :woohoo:
This is where the boys go home and the totally insane go on :silly:
(Not meaning to judge anybody  but this hill is a serious undertaking)
Thanks everybody for coming up to stage 2. This is where we said goodbye to Logun (well done for calling it mate, as that hill/mountain just keeps coming at you) I later heard that was only your fith ride ever :woohoo: Man you are showing signs of being legendary :woohoo:
Managed to scramble my way to the top of stage 3, where I parked the bike and climb back down to take pics and give assisstance :woohoo:
I think Scott was next at the stage 3, and he got caught up a couple of times :(I got my trusty sling out and helped the best I could) Scott had one last step to make and he did in true manic, crazy attack mode :woohoo:  I thought he had made it but just at the last second the WR stood up and threw him off the back. I know exactly what you were feeling having done the exact same thing a couple of “assaults” ago. (There is another rockclimbing terminology) though this fit the description :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:Woops the Misses is home, better spend some time with the better 1/2
Cheers
Murph
The boys mucking about

Joes chain derailment
Dusty’s loss of momentum

Dusty nailing it
Scott cleaning it (onsighting) (sorry that is rockclimbing terminology) :silly:Cheers STM
I can not write like you though
Story continued:
Moved onto some more open stuff and let the wind cool us down for a while
Under the main Sydney/Newcastle rail line and up into some more singles :woohoo: Linked a few together then lost the plot and ended up back on the main track  I’m sure nobody else minded (as they didn’t know  ) Bit more open stuff  Then back into the singles :woohoo: Great flowing and tight tracks back to “the rock slab”. This is where Tim pulled the pin as his little 200 just wasn’t playing the game  This is where Sneezy left us
I tried to talk him into continuing but I don’t think his heart was in it
He was looking pretty knocked up so thats where they left us
Sorry Sneezy, I feel a bit sad, as you travelled all that way only to do an hour or so of riding :S
Left “the rock slab” with a much smaller team (sorry but I need to put in one more of these
)Travelled some more single line then up the rocky section to the West Lakes MX track. Crossed the black top and headed for another little gnarly hill (which I f__ked up a bit). Then Dusty had a lead for bit, which was good chance to get over myself for questioning why we play this crazy game  Down beside the black top for about 200m (mostly on the back wheel) and under the freeway.
Off right and into another snotty single
No problems with Big Dogs Hill “K9” as we now call it even if a few diferent lines were taken :woohoo: Followed this single through till the end and back on some open stuff, accross the log bridge and headed for more gnarly singles :woohoo:
Some sweet lines (unfortunately they are on the way to being rutted) then up and out to the main track. Joe took the wrong line and end up derailing his chain  Dusty run out of momentum and had a second crack. Scott took it all in his stride
Pics to come
Maybe, if I could be bothered
I must state now that we only have dial up here
And it is very painful watching these download thingies progress.
Stay tuned if you are totally bored and could be bothered listening to me wafle on
Sneezy (all round nice bloke)
