Have also done that on a 350 chevy as I needed 90 degree ends on 4 leads to get in behind the extractors. Worked fine
MurphWas thinking teflon to be too soft Dude
Works well in normal bushes but not sure about the impact that this bush is subjected too
Could maybe make a couple of each and test them hey
Cheers
MurphHey White rocket
How did the nylon bearing go, was thinking of machining some up. Would still need the steal inside sleeve that runs over the bolt I would imagine???
Cheers
MurphHey Dusty
Have done many of said bushes
Never tried to change one without removing the swingarm though
With the swingarm out you can line it up over an open vice with a near sized socket and tap it out. A second pair of hands to balance the swingarm is handy. Like White rocket said remove the bush and seal from one side first. I have found that a few good solid hits gets the bugger moving, imagine it would be awkward still on the bike. Fit the new one measuring each side to centralise it.
Bloody expensive bush but at least there is only one
Cheers
MurphThanks all
Will try the weld first (silly not to)

MurphNot selling now

After reading a lot of forums on the Berg 570 and Kato 530 I think I’ll stick with my old beast.
Don’t like not having a kickstarter and not sure about the efi on the Berg or any endeuro bike for that matter
Heard of timing chain tensioner issues and engine oil leaking through to gearbox oil issues on the Kato
If they didn’t change the engine from the 07 model I would own one.
Might as well refresh this engine when it needs it
So I’ll stick with the 07 until it kills me or I kill it
Cheers

Brief description of what happenedRode out Friday morning to suss and maybe add a bit more to Tims (my kid) new single
Had been out clearing trees from it the day before
Came to a rock drop off and baulked (he who hesitates has lost)
Ended up over the hangers and at the bottom of the 8ft drop in a flash
Epic adventure getting my bike out of there as I was by myself
Not enjoying the pain I drove to toronto medical clinic only to be told they don’t have doctors rostered on through the day
Off to Belmont for X-rays, finding my clavical disslocated from my scapula (collar bone from shoulder blade)
No surgeory or manipulation needed evidently. Just time as the cure
Bloody sore though
Never ride by yourself kiddies
Don’t know how many times I have said thatMissed a bloody top weekend of riding as the rain has been on and off all weekend
Cheers
