    Nice job there mate
    Now comes the questions

    1)Do the bolts just clamp onto the pipe? Obviously there is a rubber gasket ie the pink material on yours

    2)What sort of pressures are we looking at? Can’t be much or it would blow the ends off easy enough?

    Send some pics of the jigs that block the ends if you don’t mind mate and I’ll knock something up so I can have a go at Smurphs old pipe

    I had an IT465 and then the 490 many moons ago. Prefered the 490 as it out handled the older 465’s. Great bikes the whole IT range. Good luck with the restorations fellas

    Top ride TW and thanks to Mudrat for sweeping all day. It was a bit dusty on the open trails :( Very professional like tour :)
    Funny bloke that XRtrailhack, he seemed to be always going wide on the corners and ending up in the bush :laugh:
