MurphHey Austblue
I have just changed a rear tyre with a HD tube and found it not to be too dificult. I did it with 4 little tyre levers which I carry with me out on the trails. I changed it at work so it was nice to know I was getting paid for it:laugh:
Cheers:cheer:

It was also a pair of Scott goggles that I have, had troubles with:ohmy: I did persavere (spelling ??) with them for too long. Probably too late to return them now. Will not make that mistake again:angry:
What are you doing Saturday???
Come up the Wato’s for a ride???
Cheers:cheer:
MurphHey Boulder
I would of thought a fork mod would of included new seals and of course oil but I guess you really have to stipulate what you want from these so called experts (woops, no offence to the dudes who did your work but I’m sure its the same everywhere) Itemised quotes are the goB)
Cheers
MurphHey Austblue
I’ve been a fitter for the past 28 years but it was still a daunting job to redrill, tap and insert a helicoil into such a loved piece of machinery as my 525.
But on doing it myself I took care and it all came out good. Sounds like TB and Ollie are right about the engineering dudes fixing the prob as they will probably drill-bore it an a horizontal boring machine so as the new hole will be true and easily helicoiled:) Hope these words make you feel more at ease with the processB)
Cheers
