MurphDepends on the availability of spares locally.
I was thinking of a 300 Kato but have shyed away a little and may stick with my 500
As said the 350 seem to have a bit of punch and are lighter than the 450/500’s.
Would probably be perfect for our type of riding (singles and rock steps)
Still love the big hit of the 500 and would probably miss it.
No problems with my 012 Kato, has over 6500kms on her.
Good luck with what ever you chose
Cheers

Another rear tyre on the 500 tomorrow. 👿
May have to order another 6 or so from the States, still can’t get them around here.

MurphWell yet another great day in the hills of GOLD with mates riding some of the best stuff around. Well Jason & I went to the usual park spot and waited. Time was getting on so I rang Boony to find out what was happing. Told him we were up here waiting, his reply was NO we are starting from in town. Dam, but you said if we don’t have to ride the tar we won’t. Ok so that was the text I didn’t get so load 1 bike and drove down the hill in bike boots (never again).
Well, Hope you boys have something sorted

I have that exact saw, maybe worth building a bracket for the front of my Kato, NOT.
Any clearing of tracks we do takes time as we walk in from as far as we can get with the fourbie.
Great little saw though, also do a bit of tree lopping and it is perfect for that as it has a clip on the back to attatch a lanyard.Tim and I use something similar, TB.
Just make sure what ever you get cuts on the pull stroke.
Seems to work better and gets stuck less.
Cheers
