Definately like the idea of a more permanent starter though.
Unlike the “add on extra” (after thought) that seems to be the way with the Kato’s

We use Helicoils (brand name) at work.
Never had a problem, never really had to use them very often.
(probably less than 6 times over my whole time as a fitter, 32 years)

Have used this method many times at work.
Not with a broken ezi out, but, Could possibly be a goer.
Have used this method with stripped out allen head bolts/plugs.
Just be gentle, remembering that the ezi out is made of hardened steal and could quite easily break when pressure is applied to the screwdriver. :ohmy: :huh:
